The only problem I have seem with worm drive clamps is when people overtighten them and damage the hose or the fitting. Spring clamps work well since they eliminate the user error aspect of how much to tighten the screw, I always grab a handful of them whenever I go to the junkyard and have yet to be charged for them. But my favorite type of clamp for smallish hoses are fuel injection hose clamps. They work just like these pinch clamps applying even pressure around the entire hose, but they are reusable and much more user friendly.
The tip about using the needle nose pliers to stretch the tube before fitting to a barb needs to be on your website when buying the EVABarrier tubing.....would have saved my poor thumbs :P Cheers
both types have their limitations. With duotight fittings the main issue we see is if the beer line is not pushed all the way into the fitting far enough this effects reliability. With respect to clamps if they are not used correctly it's easier to damage the line when putting it over the barb. Both fittings are equally reliable when they are used correctly.
I have an issue with clamps, I am using a homemade jockey box for Seltzer water, using 120 PSI, the output of the SS coil is flat, using 2 crimping clamps, over the time they get loose. The pipe is go strong that I can't flare it. What options do you recommend to use?

That is a good point. I think we should probably have a PDF download on the website for this too. I will talk to the other guys about organising this.
hot water really helps
Thank you for the vid. Which of the two connections is more reliable: these stainless clamps or duotight connectors?

Why use 9.5 clamp with 5mm tubing and the bigger 10.5 clamps with 4mm, was that an error and you meant the reverse?
No. The 5mm has thinner wall cross section so when you stretch over the barb the diameter is less. I know it doesnt sound right but this is how it is.
Great video! We have been having CO2 leak issues. Are these clamps also called Oetiker clamps? Thanks!
The Oetiker clamps are a different brand but basically they are the same thing.
jubilee clip every time for me

I heard at one point you were getting a US distributor.
Is that still the plan?
More beer and Williams brewing are our US distributors and stock most of our gear.
is there a kegland for the u.s??
We do not operate in the US but we do ship to the US from Kegland China.
