I agree with the people about this video series compared to Udemy courses. This gentleman really makes things clear, and you learn from him. You're not just pausing the video constantly to catch up coding to the guy on the other courses, and then having to listen again to actually understand what he is trying to teach. Great work!!!
BRO SERIOUSLY. They are absolutely horrible. I feel shit that i wasted my money there when this guy is literally explaining everything for free in detail.
This Playlist is just what I needed.... I was trying to find android development tutorials for so long...but none of them seemed right... Thanks a lot for this series...👍
New android developer here, i wanted to say thanks to you for making great content for tutorial. From now I can landed on my first job because of your tutorial playlist, also great explanation and on point on every detail
I have never seen a video this awesome. Am gonna watch all your videos whether theyre relevant to my course or not. You just earned a follow. Android studio xml used to be the most difficult. Now am gonna teach others
I'm a beginner and started about 2 days ago and this guy taught me about the basics regarding linear layout in 16 mins. Thank you so much sir. Love You
This guy is seriously a legend !, he can make even an idiot understand thats how amazing he is !! hats off to him , its almost a 17 min video n i didnt realize it cause the pace of explaination was on point
Well done my friend.. You are one of the best videos tutorials I've seen ! You can really see that you understand what you actually doing and not just for "show". Waiting to see more of your detailed tutorials about android. Thanks and keep up that great contribution :)
Sweet video! Was really useful to dip my toes into Android Studio before a class assignment. I really value it when the video is explained this calmly, but also this concisely. That way, I can make it anything from 0.5x to 2.0x for it to go exactly at the speed I need, while being perfectly understandable and holding my hand along the way.
Hey @Philipp you explain really well got clear many of my doubt as I am novice in this field just wanted to ask you one thing that when we want to have two edit text side by side why is it necessary to use another linear layout Love from India brother ❤️
OMG !!! I don't you if it's bcz I'm currently too emotional after watching this video since I have been searching high and low, above and below for these explanations, BUT Damn I almost fall in love with you due to the overwhelming happiness you brought me, and it's only bcz I'm a veteran on the Love Battlefield that I barely manage to resist. Hahahahahah anyway, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your help Sir.
Great Video! I was wondering if you had a special setting turned on that animated the layout changes you made when you switched from text mode to design mode after making a change in the view. I thought it was kinda cool and was wondering if you knew how I could do that to mine.
I watched your tutorial and it was really so clean that anybody can understand the issue. I wonder what if we want to define the padding as percentage of screen width or height? is it possible? or does it make sense?
Hi do you prefer linear layout over contraint layout? And why ? As it seems to me contraintlayout is somuch easier you just drag the objects to where you wanted them to be and set contraint, and there is no need to created multiple layout inside the contrainstlayout. Though I don't really understand how contraintlayout work and I understand 100 percent now how linearlayout work, did you and would you make a video on that
Great video. Just want to clarify - if layout weight defines how much of the screen the view uses, is there any reason to also have the layout width attribute be defined as wrap-content like you have in the video?
With linear layout you need to nest several layouts into each other to create your whole layout. That's not performant. With constraint layout we can build our whole layout just by having a single layout

so cool that I always like it though for performance they recommend constraint layout.is this true?
Great Video! I was wondering if you had a special setting turned on that animated the layout changes you made when you switched from text mode to design mode after making a change in the view. I thought it was kinda cool and was wondering if you knew how I could do that to mine.

I watched your tutorial and it was really so clean that anybody can understand the issue. I wonder what if we want to define the padding as percentage of screen width or height? is it possible? or does it make sense?
that means instead of 1 can i take 0.5 because sum of 0.5 is 1 so i will get my edit text occupied with half of the width

In a instagram post of yours, you had advised not to use Linear Layouts over Constraint Layout. Why is it so?
