This channel is such a treasure. I'm glad many thousands of people found it.
Spoiler alert, we don’t know.
That was…..thorough. I can’t imagine the universe having a boundary. If that were the case, a being at the edge could observe the universe with us in it and turn around and see nothing but blackness or whatever the nothing is. This is messin’ with my head, man.😳
But, if you turned around and saw anything, anything at all, wouldn't that be something? Something is still part of the universe, though, wouldn't it? Even darkness, or whatever nothing is, is still something, isn't it?
This is messing with my head, man!
I'm here for the comments, and to like them when appropriate 👍
@@SuperiorDave now the clock springs are flyin’ round the room!
@@SuperiorDave Absolutely ! "Void" is not the actual definition of "Nothingness"; Even the empty dark space void is something.
The big question is as humans are we able perceptually conceptualize "Spacelessness" or "Voidlessness" ? using our brain and consciousness ?
Infinity has no beginning and no end, an impossible thought to grasp but provides the possibility for the manifestation of anything and everything.
Indian mystics have stated for 1000s years - that the universe - creations are cyclical - but that fits - into their general philosophy of life. Creation - sustaining - destruction and then again. There is eternal movement - CHANGE - as the constant - in all this. Nature of matter - and all - that.
Fare thee well.
Not what current technology is allowing us but what physics allows us. Big difference
Yes it’s a big difference but what he said is not untrue lmao.
You are limiting your understanding to humankind's limited knowledge about our universe.
Many of our best ideas about the universe are just theories.
Many of our theories are called models because they are constantly being moulded or modeled with new knowledge as we learn more.
Just recently a new theory has come forth suggesting there is no dark matter or dark energy and that the big bang happened possibly nearly twice as long ago as previously thought. The newer theory is called ccc+tl.
Keep your mind open to new ideas.
Our previous understanding of the universe was that we lived on the back of a turtle. What is the turtle standing/ living on? It was our understanding, at the time, it is turtles, all the way down. We used to think there weren't any black holes, but we have a photo of one now. Our physics tells us there are white holes, but we haven't seen any yet. Our understanding of what is reality and what is physically possible changes daily.
This stuff blows my mind.
Try meth
sorry.. but the universe means everything there is. soo iff there is something " outside the universe " it is still part off the universe. there is no outside off the universe, because that is also part off the universe. i find it very strange when hearing " outside the universe "
There’s more universes outside the universe
If the universe is constantly expanding, what is it expanding into?
Almost all of the time they mean the observable universe.
@@G4meplayVids good one
AWESOME 👌
The space 🌌 is just unimaginable!
Indian mystics - say that Space is eternal - and the first condition of existence - and that even God - finds His place - therein - not to talk of - all the subsequent - wonders - of matter.
Some questions are many generations off, we have made excellent progress, gravity is the missing link as no direct theory exists, black-holes and there younger self's stars may shed some light, for me our greatest discovery is that our universe is dying, and that nipping out on a summer night looking up and enjoying its beauty.
1:30 to 2:30
If a star is 1 billion light years away, does that mean we’re seeing it as it was 1 billion years ago? Does this take into account the expansion of the universe or would it mean that the star is actually younger than we think it is?
Yes it is what it looked like 1 billion years ago. The farther the distance you are actually looking back in time.
@@greg-op2jh Are we taking into account the rate of expansion of the universe or does that not matter?
It seems to me, the earth would be older than the star, since it was just created by the expansion.
Space itself, has been expanding for
1 billion light years, since earths creation, if the earth is the viewing point. 🤷
What if the so calling dark energy is nothing but the gravitational pull of other universes surrounding our universe?🤔🤔
Yeah, like a giant universe cluster.
Hmmm. Interesting and hard to argue with.
If that was the case the astrophysics domain would have identified it long ago and categorized it as that. The reason it is unknown and mysterious is because, probably it is exhibiting certain unique features or distinct characteristics that normal gravitational force would not ideally express.
Remnants of cyclical universe? I'm not sure the structure or construct of our physics based on a lifecycle like ours, being born to parents and dying, discounting the perpetual nature of our particles existence in a chaotic recycling, is capable of seeing a spark of consciousness experience of beginning and ending, which can be looked at as us being cyclical being. Not that it answers the what is beyond the beginning question, if viewed as such, but it lessens the ambiguity by repeating such patterns. Time is perpetual, it still slows down and speeds up without evidence of having a beginning. Our consciousness could simply be incapable of grasping whatever truth lies behind where anything happened first, not having any frame of reference besides maybe a cyclical universe, perpetuating itself. We may never have a clear picture as our species is too young, where the light of previous universe hasn't arrived yet for clues to how the cycles might be different leading to different possibilities.
Wow gud man
I believe that there's just simply more open space outside the never ending expanding universe. But that's my personal belief.
It's either finite or INfinite. Either has incredible ramifications.
Realy I like this video so so much like you can imagine its interestyng
Nothing, since the universe is everything by definition!
Aether bros we are back!
It is possible that our universe is just one among other billions of verses within a Alph verse. Our universe might just be like a little dot within the Alpha Verse if compared with the Alpha Verse.
The Dark matters Dark energies that scientists talk about might be the effects of other Verses that our current technologies are not capable of observing.
Outside is hyperspace that connects all universes.
There has to be other life in the universe. I refuse to believe otherwise, real question is how advanced would they be if at all? just wild animals waiting to be discovered one day
The thing is even if there is life currently existing on exoplanets or further away galaxies how would we tell because we seem them millions and billions of years ago as they were, therefore it is probable that life exists it’s just impossible for us to observe
There is no edge, corners, center, or shape to the Universe.
Sure, our little bubble of existence , or known universe may be finite.
But the actual Universe is infinite because it has always existed and always will exist.
It really is that simple ! Although people try to make it complicated when it not at all complicated.
Also, only the matter, energies, frequencies and forces, some not fully understood, others yet to be discovered within the area of influence will give the illusion of space warping or bending.
You will have actual proof for these assertions, I take it? 🤣
@sidsuspicious
Nothingness is more impossible than something !
The closest one could get to nothingness is merely the concept itself. Or the fact that the concept of absolute nothingness has absolutely nothing to do with reality !
So, therefore the universe is infinite ♾️
This means that in both space and time, the universe is infinite.
In my opinion, cosmologists who claim the universe had a beginning and will have an end are like the modern-day flat earthers of cosmology, lol
@@grantjohnston7148So again, proof? Were you there? Did you explore other realms or portals? Did you discover the secrets of existence?
@Nobody-sb8fj
Trying to argue that the entire universe popped into existence out of thin air, or was created by some all-powerful being is not unlike a flat earther argument.
Except the flat earthers would be more rational in their conclusions.
@@grantjohnston7148 And making a statement as if you knew what really lies out there without ever being there or having any proof is no different than someone being purely ignorant and clueless.
So you still didnt answer the question. Which is what i expected. Move along.
We don't know what we don't know, and that's a beautiful thing.
"Billions of galaxies" in the first sentence?
Sleep well, people of the Tube....
nothing is infinite, theres an end to everything, it has to stop at some point, but at the edge you can still keep going, but that point its beyond our comprehension, its pitch black yes, but you can still keep going but it will never stop? or did it, but we cant explain that.
Just outside the edge of the Universe?
No no no. Categorical error. The Universe includes EVERYTHING. There is no 'outside' the Universe.
Have You heard of a Multiverse

I would like to know if there is more pubs and B&M shops in other universe's
Just visit another country outside uk 😂😂
Somewhere there is a universe in which every planet is like the UK except there are no pubs and the tv licence collectors use cattle prods
If all they can see is the light a planet gives off then how can they know what the outer layer or surface looks like?
Universe has no end.
I guess outside will be only 2 dimensions, like what existed in the beginning 😊
but what was before the beginning?
@@groovechampion1462maybe a mathematical point, or 2 dimensional sheet / disk.
Soooooooooo 1:36:51 lets talk about how that looked like somebody looking at the cosmic ring the universe gave them💀.
Once you get past the planets stars and galaxies there is absolutly nothing , on and on forever .
We come from Perfection!
I guess we'll never know
Hi, I am The Grand Unified Theory!
This dude must not understand what infinity is… it has no edge that universe goes on forever
@@mark7428 we do know that it goes on forever because it’s exponentially expanding
and how do you know that?
Other universes that crash into other ones and create more universes. How did you think ours was created?🤦♀️
You wouldn't get signals from beyond where you can see into the u I else.. they don't travel faster than light..
The universe is the whole place. ( if ) there is empty ( space ) and galaxies are moving away or towards empty space, galaxies is just moving to empty part of the universe.
How do we know its empty space? Because the galaxies have been traveling at tremendous speeds away for millions of years to empty space.
No one on this planet could imagine the universe, traveling and empty space.
It's beyond imagination.
Have we even proven that there IS an edge?
There is no edge for Universe. It is not made in a factory.
"I AM NOTHING I AM" behold !
Moreiverse ? 👀
The reason why this dude is asking this question is because our chimp brains can’t comprehend infinity
What lies beyond? More stars more galaxies and just that. its more universes all the way down. Or up or sideways or every other direction and time. spacetime.
Not to mention the energizer bunny....
I had a stroke trying to read this
I think there multiple universes after go to the edge there little void before entering another universe it is like bubble. The another universe have science properties our minds can’t figure out. I would say the next universe is 200-300 billion light years away.
People like you are so annoying lol. Talking as if you have personally been there to understand the intricacies of something the human brain was never made to comprehend.
Hmm well there should be a boundary if we are to believe in the big bang

Advance civilizations is supernatural phenomenal that has been occurring due to spirits

Wherever there is no matter there is no measurable time or distance. There is no need to modify gravity. Less gravity accelerates time and inflates distance both of which accelerate causation making everything move faster including lightspeed while maintaining the speed of light 186,000 miles per second. The concept is so simple at least for mechanically minded people. If you change the size of a cubit, you will change the size of the house that you build with it. If instead of driving 60 kilometers an hour you drive 60 miles an hour, you will increase your speed because you increased the distance that you traveled in an hour. Then if you change from 60 miles an hour you drove 60 miles in half an hour, you increased your speed again because you traveled 60 miles in a faster time. General relativity is no longer a theory, it is an observation. Distance expands with less gravity and time speeds up with less gravity effectively making everything faster including light without breaking the speed of light.
I think are in a black hole thats has collided with another black hole.
13.8 Billion years was the limit of the Hubble Telescope was able to see. The JWST can see at least double that and as technology improves, we will be able to see further still.
I don't know where you are getting your maths from, but they ripped you off.
The only right answer is we don't know, and you cannot change my mind

You are missing a very huge component of space that nobody ever talks about because they don’t know about it
Only thing I know that fits that description is dark energy, and he covered that
Something can not exist in NOTHING and nothing remain NOTHING! Nothing does not EXIST! 😊
When we humans say "Nothing" we are actually committing a categorical error.
There is no edge.
With a definitive answer like that you must be the new Einstein!
Einstein is so passé. There's a new kid on the block. Aurealeus is the name.
It's said it's beyond imagination in size. Yet some a
There is no edge of the universe
No, The Universe Is Not Expanding at an Accelerated Rate, other experts say
Hes a good kid
Our universe created by the Big-Bang is just one of the bubbles. A bubble created inside a bigger and older bubble. I believe that's what Roger Penrose is suggesting.
There’s nothing that’s “beyond the edge of the universe.”
Oh yeah? Did you take a nice mini vacay there recently or something? Get some paid time off work, take a plane ride, rent a car there? Did you visit all the restaurants and ‘touristy’ places? Did you snap some photos for your Facebook feed?
@@TheSCPStudio Haha, if I could have done all of those things, it wouldn’t be “beyond the edge of the universe.”

Never liked that dumb experiment. It literally doesn’t prove anything but he acted all smug like it does. There could be so many reasons why a time traveler wouldn’t show up. It neither proved not disproved anything.
You don't know. It's not testable.
Nobody knows.
If the event horizon is the 13,5 billion light years, why would it be assumed that it is the just about the beginning of the universe. That is not an evidence that a big bang happened at that time but it is the farthest distance that a light traveling towards us can reach us and not practically the edge of the universe
They found Jimmy Hoffa.
the universe is a larger version of a sombrero galaxy... similar to planet Saturn...beyond the universal Sphere, we will find the universal Rings !!!!

What is out there?
More than something there is someone very important Person out there. He the creator the true God revealed himself to humans but not many pay attention.
I payed attention to it becayse he really spoke--
" I am Jehovah and this is my name. I made heavens and stars and earth and sea and everything in it.
I number all the stars and call their name.
I made humans in my image and made them to look after the earth and living things.
No one can see me yet live.
Raise your head and look up the heaven and think who made all these.
I will honor those who honors my name.
I will make them live eternal without seeing death on earth.
No more death or pain anymore.
I am making all things new"
