Why I love being a writer: I can binge Sarra videos and call it "professional development"😅

Sarra, I think you have one of the best souls on social media. You always give so much of yourself , constantly sharing your ups and downs. Thank you for everything you do and for helping me become a better version of myself. You're Publish and Thrive and HB90 classes have changed everything for me. ❤💻🖊📖📚

I haven't published a book (yet), but I'll tell you the one thing that made me realize that this is what I want and what I'm supposed to do in my life. It's also a huge reason why I love being a writer. I studied creative writing in University, and part of that was sharing my work for critique by my classmates and professors. I hate being the centre of attention, but handing my work around a room and watching people's faces as they read what I had written was the coolest thing that has ever happened to me. Watching them light up and get excited or furiously take notes in the margins so they could give me their opinions and reactions... it's the best serotonin boost. Seeing people react to your art and have it really resonate with them is an incredible feeling, and it's what keeps me going when my inner critic is being particularly loud.

I love being a writer because not only do I get to put the stories that live rentfree in my head down on paper but out in the world. And other people read and love them and that makes me so so very happy!

I think what I love most about being a writer is writing the stories I want to read. Sometimes I really want to read a specific type 9f story and the next thing I know there are characters and back stories. I love it

Yes, def being a writer is the best job in the world!
My top 10 reasons why I love being a writer:
    I can work from home
I can make my own schedule
I can be my own boss
    I love creating new worlds/characters
    I love understanding/analyzing my characters
I love being surprised by my own characters development (sometimes they just grow by themselves o.o)
I love being in a new world and be a part of a story
I love seeing people smile and being excited by what I wrote
I love the joy that books spread though either uplifting someone, teaching something, making someone company, etc
I love how one can travel anywhere and know so many people (well characters 🥺 I feel so many times they are like my friends) just by reading a book

Oh Sarra, you got me too, I was tearing up. When ever I get an email from you I get excited, you have helped get me through so much. The reasons why I love being a writer is that I get to share the worlds of my imagination, live through my characters, and I get to hang out with the amazing writing community that you have created, everything that you do shines through. Every word that you write, every video that you create and every inspiration that you give makes the light shine at the end of the tunnel. Keep shining because you are amazing!!!

This might be my favorite video so far. I love all your reasons, but especially the one about planners and stationery lol. Since I am a retired teacher I can know justify all the planners to my husband - “honey, Sarra said that I need all these cool planners and post-it’s to write”. He knows I watch your videos everyday

You're amazing, Sarra! I keep saying it, but you're such an inspiration to so many people! I had been struggling with writer's block for the past few months and things have been so hectic at work, I had completely given up on my writing. But listening to your videos today (it was a Sarra's videos marathon day 😄) , it made me so emotional and rekindled my desire to write so much that I decided to do NanoWrimo again this year. I hope it will help me get past the rut I've been in lately. All that to say that it wouldn't have been possible without you, Sarra! Keep sharing your wisdom and your amazing energy with the world! 💜
