I haven't published a book (yet), but I'll tell you the one thing that made me realize that this is what I want and what I'm supposed to do in my life. It's also a huge reason why I love being a writer. I studied creative writing in University, and part of that was sharing my work for critique by my classmates and professors. I hate being the centre of attention, but handing my work around a room and watching people's faces as they read what I had written was the coolest thing that has ever happened to me. Watching them light up and get excited or furiously take notes in the margins so they could give me their opinions and reactions... it's the best serotonin boost. Seeing people react to your art and have it really resonate with them is an incredible feeling, and it's what keeps me going when my inner critic is being particularly loud.
It sounds like such a dream, a dream I know can come true for me too. The freedom, the time to write as much as I want wherever I want…awww, I can’t wait! 😀

My top 10 reasons why I love being a writer: I can work from home I can make my own schedule I can be my own boss I love creating new worlds/characters I love understanding/analyzing my characters I love being surprised by my own characters development (sometimes they just grow by themselves o.o) I love being in a new world and be a part of a story I love seeing people smile and being excited by what I wrote I love the joy that books spread though either uplifting someone, teaching something, making someone company, etc I love how one can travel anywhere and know so many people (well characters 🥺 I feel so many times they are like my friends) just by reading a book

It has always been in the back of my mind to become a writer. I just really struggle to focus on actually writing a piece. Inspiration has never been a struggle for me, it's just actually moving forward and writing. I am loving book 5! It helps me to escape from all the medical issues that I go through. I write to get things off my mind when I am anxious or angry. Reading is an escape from all the chronic medical issues. Thank you for your books they have helped me cope and get through a lot of my medical issues and my anxiety disorders.
This might be my favorite video so far. I love all your reasons, but especially the one about planners and stationery lol. Since I am a retired teacher I can know justify all the planners to my husband - “honey, Sarra said that I need all these cool planners and post-it’s to write”. He knows I watch your videos everyday

I had been struggling with writer's block for the past few months and things have been so hectic at work, I had completely given up on my writing. But listening to your videos today (it was a Sarra's videos marathon day 😄) , it made me so emotional and rekindled my desire to write so much that I decided to do NanoWrimo again this year. I love being a reader because I like visiting other worlds especially when they're magical. The Witch's Key still has me shook! :)
