I've been using her a ton ever since I pulled her because she's surprisingly flexible. Need a real safe pusher? Use S1. Need her to just lay down semi-consistent damage on an area as a backup? Use S2. Need her to bind and/or delete a certain enemy from existence? Use S3. I will admit that her S2 is the weakest of the three unless you balance using her sand beast around her ammo so she can refund it fairly frequently. Her sand beast itself just lets you set up real bizarre and interesting areas for her to camp up in; it also focuses her attention on the enemies within it's radius, so you can use it as a targeting beacon of sorts for her while she does enhanced damage to enemies within it's radius. Overall, is she a must-pull? Absolutely not. Is she extremely solid? Absolutely yes. Lots of fun with a flexible kit? Also absolutely yes.
Unironically,i have heard that in other gachas many times before. Many will "advise"not to pull in any banner except limited.Even if you are not able to progress to a point where you can reliably get the best rewards that some standard could pull you to.@@narius_jaden215
Kyo, actually the enemy from the back in the first stage is intended to use the small beast at where the Angelina is and let Ray push them to the hole.
Comparing her S3 to Typhon S3, it seems much much more flexible because of the abyssmally small cooldown but Typhon still has an overall more damage. In conclusion, I'll skip Degenbrecher for both.
The reason why they use it is because it easier to set up unit their . I mean other ones have annoying mobs to deal with and doesn't fully pull out the potential of a unit

Just like in statistic if you show just a portion to showcase how good the data is but ignoring the fact that overall the result doesnt reflect the performance.

On the topic of S3, Ray deals just below Typhon amounts of Physical damage every 20 seconds compared to Typhon's 50 second cooldown. Ray still beats Poz and Schwarz in terms of damage and she beats both of them as well as Typhon and Ch'en alter in terms of cycling. As for off-skill, she should still deal more damage than them as long as the ammo is there. But Ray is still more complicated than Typhon. If you use her with knowing and intending to use her for fun, she will more than deliver, but if you will use Ray expecting her to be braindead, well, you'll be disappointed. But I guess she's kind of like Mlynar in a way, mostly useful on-skill.
@@galeria_m The fun depends on each person, 1 can tell you that he has fun with Ray because it is more challenging to use and 2 can tell you that he has more fun with Typhon because it is more Braindead and kills everything easier Ray's S3 has 30 seconds of CD if she doesn't kill anyone but I'm not going to deny that in the short duration of S3 she can do more damage than Typhon in that time, when Ray's S3 runs out Typhon with its infinite duration/ammo can do more total damage, also considering that Typhon ignores 60% defense with the module In normal attacks without Skills, I would say that Typhon should do more consistent damage thanks to the fact that she does not need to reload like Ray and thanks to the passive of ignoring defense, she also has better base attack range One thing that Ray's S3 can be better than Typhon is if the enemy has few moments to hurt him, like for example in IS4 with the third boss Cresson, although in IS it depends on the buffs who ends up being better or if you are on a high difficulty the enemies can have a lot of defense so Typhon can have fun...

But yeah, I failed to mention that it depends on what "fun" is for the player. Typhon is also most definitely fun, I'll pull her as well after all. There's what, like maybe 10 bosses that could survive Ray S3? Maybe less? Typhon is certainly a much safer choice and a much more beginner friendly choice with S2 though and S3, the burst-damage of Typhon is probably the highest ST PhysDMG that exists in the game even taking note the defense ignore that synergizes perfectly with how the skill works.
Because she is the all new 6* hunter sniper branch, they have lord's attack range and have complicated new shotgun like ammo mechanics. their 5* is hard to use but lucky for her that her talent helps her regain that ammo faster so she becomes really fun to use.
Interesting that Kyo's intro is M6 but the showcase is M9. S1M3's charge time is 10 seconds. My first impression of Ray was "why bother with her?" as she seems like a pain to use with the timing and bullets. And if I need a strong ST Sniper, we got Schwarz, Pozy and Typhon. My impression of Ray now is still the same. She's no AFK unit, or even semi AFK unit. Her S3 hits like a truck and seems like it hits harder than like Schwarz and more flexible too. She still doesn't feel like a "must build" if you have the other ST Snipers built. While all 3 of are skills are pretty interesting, I feel S2 is a bit...awkward though, lol. S3 is usually strong enough that you don't need S2. Or it can be compensated by other operators. I mean, in Kyo's showcase for the same map, the strategy is slightly different but it felt S3 did the job much easier than S2. S1 seems like a nice fun niche kind of thing. I would put it as more niche but equally useful as Rosa's S3 in certain maps.

It's not global, she can only deploy capybara within her range. She gets some really wacky range extension like sniping behind her but she's not shooting something from across the map like GG.
Somehow i see it funny looking her reloading ammo animation, its like she say "fast, fast, i need more ammo" in panic 😂
