    ABOUT ME:
    In 2018, I decided I wanted to change my life and relocate to Italy. I didn't know anyone there, I didn't speak the language and I had only visited the country twice before. Just eight months after I had made this decision, I packed up my suitcases and moved solo from London to Italy, embarking on my very first Expat experience. On paper it sounds completely bonkers but in reality it was the making of me.
    On this channel I serve up a slice of real Italian life through weekly vlogs and videos. I also share tips on how to navigate life as an Expat in Italy, coping strategies, lessons learnt and my unique insight into life as a Brit in Italy.

    Train is the best way to travel through Italy.
    Yeah, sometimes it can be a bit stressful but the views you can enjoy from the trains are worth the effort, since oftentimes they run on different routes from those of car roads.

    The trains are wonderful in Italy, they're so clean, NO graffiti and there's even USB points at every seat.

      Yes - reliability is questionable but for the most part, they are in good condition

      I’m so excited for you! Glad it helped - I wish I had seen a video like this when I first came here. Napoli train station was overwhelming!

    Good explanation. Tickets are so confusing for me. Sometimes, I ended up riding without tickets because I can't find validators or could not book on app. Especially border trains into Swiss. Prefer to buy from window and station staff are very friendly.

      You can validate your ticket with a pen, just write the date.

    I would use Trenitalia's mobile app to buy tickets (just another option). But it would give you a QR code for the train conductor to scan in lieu of an actual ticket to validate and show to someone.

    So the online booking gives you a digital ticket ?

    • @MsBritaly
      @MsBritaly  Год назад +1

      Yes with a QR code which the ticket inspector scans

    If i booked tickets online do i need to validate the ticket in the train station.??
    Or just show them electic ticket?

    • @MsBritaly
      @MsBritaly  2 месяца назад +1

      If you booked your tickets online there’s no need to validate them - the inspector will scan the QR code on the ticket
