Hi Jonathan, i'm french so excuse my english ;) I'm really enjoying your vids really entertaining specially on this tenkara outfit ! i'm also impress by the beauty and the number of fish that you have over there in th uk, i might make a trip next year.
It seems like there's a need for something to hold the rod, hands free. A rigid plastic holster or something to hold the pole while the fish is netted and you need to handle it.

Why not sew a slim, deep vertical pocket so you could sheath the butt of the rod while you deal with netting/unhooking the fish?
