Theatricals and Show-offs. Very important if you want to create a new civilization. You can't just off killing a stranger without some spectacle, what message that would give?

Love this scene since I first saw it. But I still don't know why he gave them everything. He could have turned in the weapons they saw he had and kept a few of those others for later. Its not like they patted him down or sent him through a metal detector.

Among the weapons Max turns over is Wez's wrist crossbow from Mad Max 2 and a Mauser pistol from Mad Max 1.
