Had a family hut on Hipkin's beach for probably more than 70 years now! Love the place so many special memories for me. Had a great summer in 2018 making the most of those lazy hazy days we were blessed with! Just getting my Winter virtual fix of Walton today so thanks for the video! 👍

WALTON ON THE NAZE . THIS IS WHERE MY BROTHER AND I ALONG WITH MY NAN AND GRANDAD . WHOULD GO TO FOR OUR HOLIDAYS .THIS WAS IN THE EARLY 60ST CATCH A TRAIN FROM LIVERPOOL ST TO I THINK IT MAY HAVE BEEN TO COLCHESTER AND THEN TAKE THE SHUNTER TO WALTON STN. THE BARROW BOYS WERE WAITING TO TAKE OUR LUGGAGE TO THE CAMP SITE THAT WAS THE MARTELLOW . ALL OF US LOVED GOING INTO TOWN AND TO THE COPPER KETTLE WE ALL ORDERED STACK AND KIDNEY PIE HOME MADE . AND MAYBE A NIKABOKGLORY . GREAT MEMORIES OF WALTON. HAPPY DAYS .

Oscar Jacobs We've stayed in Walton 3 time over the past five years or so, it is a great little place, very relaxing, pretty and a good place from which to see the rest of the Essex coast 😎👍❤️
That thatched roof property as you turned out the camp seems to be up for sale every year , there is obviously big problems there that come to light after people move in , they don’t stay long lol
Places 2 Go Travel you might well be right , but we have lived here 11 years now in Frinton and drive past it everyday , allways seems to be changing the sale boards
Alec That wasn’t rock salmon , rock salmon only has one big bone through it’s spine , it was probably some inferior old foreign fish lobbed in . Lots of cod isn’t cod either , one of the biggest scams that just seems to get let go
Never nice to see this but in this instance, at least it was inside a disused MoD pillbox structure and not where the majority of visitors will see it 😁👍❤️

We make it at least once a year....As I say We as a family want to move there soon. It is a great place. Seen it in all weathers.....Love it
