There could’ve been a bug that allows collecting the soul and quickly switching to a different item. Would explain why most items that have weird souls are combat related and something you might have in your hotbar. Also, a lot of the listed item have right click abilities. We have/had similar bugs with drill swapping, sword swapping, bow swapping etc. so I wouldn’t be too surprised if the game logic makes or made it possible to collect a soul while switching to a different weapon that’s not supposed to be able to have a soul. For the "MISSING" soul, it might have been that it was captured on the real necromancy weapon, then switched to a different one, then captured again so the soul didn’t exist. That’s just an educated guess from my understanding of the game and programming though.
I started skyblock a week after the King Pig himself defeated Dante. I got to the end before losing access to my Minecraft account, I’ve missed out on so many updates. Finally getting it tomorrow.
Or if the soul is Dante Slime it would take 21,595 mana to spawn, which is also possible to reach in dungeons. Also by using a sheep pet and wise dragon armor the mana cost can be reduced even more, possibly allowing it to be able to be spawned outside of dungeons as well
Someone having a "bruh" soul on a non necro weapon may mean there was an nbt edit exploit on hypixel at some point Iirc correctly no mob is called bruh
My guess is that, in the infancy of Alpha, they somehow managed to slightly merge a few tiny aspects from the Alpha server to the main server. Nothing they would've immediately been able to notice, like items or coins, but maybe metadata of items IE the souls being transferred to the main server on the same inventory slot as the necromancy tool was in the alpha. IDK just a theory
Oh yeah the dante event! I did get some goon souls from that event which is pretty fun to mess around with. I never even thought about dante soul was possible

Only thing I want back from the Dante event and the only good thing about the event was the hub music. "Dark and seedy" is such a banger. Dante might return in The Rift update

Yo, just curious, can you check if anyone has ever obtained the admin souls from the rare admin rooms? I mean the one that rarely appears in dungeons in the forms of 1x1 dead ends. IIRC the name of some of the admins are Vinny8ball666, AdamWho, Blockskey, Districtgecko. They might be one of the rarest obtainable souls in the server
yes many people have, it pretty popular as a t4 enderman cheese where you afk with goblin/cloak and 3 admin souls or hypixel soul solos the boss ( before the summon "nerf")

Probably they got the souls on items that arent meant for necromancy in the switch of skyblock, like some how they didnt get kicked on update day and by killing mobs the souls were added to the item with tags for test souls.
Actual final edit: Ok so I just checked the possible mob Necromancy list and it appears like a "hypixel" is actually obtainable- Apparently it's a Master Mode Crypt Undead, which I guess has a chance to show up as an Admin or as Hypixel, and the stats for the master mode variant seems to match what I saw, so false alarm I guess! Learn something new everyday haha I'll still leave this comment up though EDIT: I FOUND THE SCREENSHOT The Necromancy Mob's name was as follows "JoseElFake's hypixel 70M" and it was holding a bone, yes, it apparently had 70MILLION Health, I am just as surprised as you are xD Anyone know how this could have happened? Edit 2: Also in the screenshot it seems to have been doing 378,097 damage to a Voidgloom Seraph, I'm not sure what Tier That soul seems so OP I think when I was still pretty new to Skyblock I remember seeing a possibly rare soul- I was in the End and I saw someone summon mobs called "so-and-so's Hypixel" and they had the phoenix-looking skin that I assume is default for the bugged souls, I took a screenshot I think cuz I found it funny that they were named Hypixel but I didn't give it much thought past that cuz I figured it must have been some endgame mob or something and only now do I realize that was probably a bugged soul Unfortunately I do not remember where the screenshot was saved- if I even took one :/ Probably gonna try and see if I can find it, cuz I remember it pretty clearly so I think it happened? There's a chance I misread it/am now misremembering it
Killdante command probably made the soul undroppable since the killer was the server... And why am I not surprised that there are necromancy souls on an aote?

Dante was actually the best thing to happen to skyblock because this mayor had consquenses and added lore
AND it added a common talisman that was almost free to buy!

This is so interesting but wouldn't it be impossible to summon Dante because the more health the summon has the more mana it takes. Dante had 300m hp
No, it would take 10,120 mana to summon Dante, which is easily reachable in dungeons
Or if the soul is Dante Slime it would take 21,595 mana to spawn, which is also possible to reach in dungeons. Also by using a sheep pet and wise dragon armor the mana cost can be reduced even more, possibly allowing it to be able to be spawned outside of dungeons as well
It would probably take a player who got voted a lot in the event. You know how techno had HUGE amounts of mana
