This is how we know we grown up lol
😂😂😂
I don't know why but I'm laughing so hard at this 😂🤣
Sam (style & power VLOGS) Ain’t that the truth 😂
😂
I wish I can say those words one day
why cant people grasp the thought that women can do things themselves... people like putting other people down when they see people do things they cant! keep doing you michelle youre killing it!:)
Who said that women cant do anything themselves?? Stop creating lies out of thin air
@@siddhartha31 society lol
That’s because men do 99% of the difficult labor in this nation.
@@luism4165 Yeah? Have a baby.
@@mavrick6499 oh that must be so hard, that’s the hardest thing women do right 😂. Not working in construction for 30 years, not working in dangerous conditions when you can lose limbs or your life, giving birth… something you decide to do rather than have to do, and a human is actually meant to do. Maybe mention something that you don't choose to do?
Girl you basically moved continents to go study abroad and then graduated and moved half way across the world to NYC. Um. Talk about an independent queen!! Keep doing you please 😍
I am always inspired by how independent she is. Continue being who you are. ❤
Sameeee! So inspiring. I certainly didn't do those stuff by myself at her age. lol
Good financial
Yaas. Hey, Michelle can you also do a video on being independent and how to survive being alone? Especially in a place you haven't been to.. 😊 thank you!!!
WE ALL LOVE AN INDEPENDENT GIRL BOSS 👏🏼
but for real tho, you're such an inspiration, and it motivates me to achieve my goals as well.
The way u live by yr own, is totally my goal, i just love to live alone, doing everything on my own, i can feel how statisfying doing everything by self 😅
Proof that girls need no man to help her build stuff.
In 2019 we don’t need that kind of proof anymore tho
There is no proof though?
y gender stereotype anything.
Ugh here we go.... begone femanazi
its okay if you dont need a man...but you dont have to be offensive either...
I'm almost done watching ALL of your vlogs Michelle and I'm in awe of how far you've come. So proud and inspired by you!
You seem happier since you moved to NY. Love the positive energy you’re sharing :)
Them people bashing you looks like they never watched your vlogs and they just come here to hate. Just so you know, she works hard and she saves! Probably more than others do that's why she can afford stuff. Why dont those haters try to do the same? For all i know theyre just jealous. Just saying. Sorry not sorry ✌️
I just started living alone in NYC and your vlogs helped give me confidence that I can do so many things independently! Love watching this series
Literally rewatching michelle's old vlogs!
I don't know why I find so much joy in seeing others live their lives and seeing their aesthetic.
Seeing you're doing all by yourself inspires me in everything. thank you for being such a strong person with a beautiful soul. Whenever things are hard for you, pls believe that u have me, you hv a lot of people who supports and loves you. 앞으로도 더 응원할게요 언니^^ 화이팅 하자.
you’re so self motivated and I’m so inspired by you. I love how you’ve done this all by yourself. You have all the credit and you’re my new idol!! much love michelle and I always love your videos!!!
I’m super sad & depressed. I’m binge watching your aesthetically-pleasing videos & they are filling my soul.
i absolutely love how you're so fiercely independent! You're doing everything on your own, moving your own luggage, building your own furniture, it's crazy!!! When I watched your previous video where you repainted your ceiling back at home completely on your own, I was already super impressed. Here you are again, doing everything without needing anyone's help! That truly inspires me to become an independent, free woman like you are!
Just avoid toxic people & their Worthless Comments. They are so Miserable about their Pathetic lifes that they assume such things. So much love for you Michelle. Stay Healthy and safe. Love from INDIA
Omg I cannot be more happy for you Michelle! Me personally, I moved across the 🌍 for school at 16 and it was extremely hard. But now that I’m in uni and start living on my own and renting the house is even more different than before. I can total relate and understand your excitement!! More update on the new life pleasssse. ily💕💕
It’s honestly been a dream of mine to move to NYC and live out there because I love it but I can’t afford it. That being said, just because I can’t afford it, doesn’t mean that I or anyone else should have the right to be nasty to you or assume you live a certain way. You are a strong, self reliant woman and I’m so happy for you that you’re living out your dream! Wishing you best of luck in everything and as a new subscriber, I really enjoy your videos! I visit NYC often, it’s a great city.
Michelle I really really admire your independence! I just moved to nyc as well, and I felt really overwhelmed moving heavy boxes and buying furnitures without a lot of help from busy friends. I understand the frustration and confusion that might come with moving to a new city alone, and trust me you will love the place you build yourself more!! Best of luck :) You make me happy!
Still going back (scrolling down down on the vlog playlist) and watching this! ❣
ahh i’m so happy for you! you are so inspiring i can’t believe i’ve watched you go from struggling with loneliness to being an independent woman! i aspire to be like you 🤩
You’re such an inspiration Michelle! Keep doing you! Don’t pay attention to those trying to bring you down. You continue to motivate me and so many others out there :,) ❤️
All the extra details aren’t needed girl! Do you! And you’re doing GREAT! Your happiness is what matters and it shows how content you are with this big decision! Best of luck to you from a fellow New Yorker 🥰
congrats on the move and thanks so much for including details like the insurance company etc. Pls give the city my love for me, I cant wait to see you explore it!!
헐! Cari was here too! 🤯😍
I’m so proud of Michelle 💜 I hope someday I can be as independent as you. You really are an inspiration to me 😭
Watching you from way before till now....the transition has been very big..i too am at the end of my college years and m totally freaked out,as to how my life will turn out.. Watching your videos kind of gives me assurance, thank you so much!! Ur supporter till the end..fighting!!😊😘
I really like how independent you are 😭 such an inspiration
When people can't find wrong with you , they simply create it. I love to see your vlogs Michelle . More power to you . Keep going ❤️
Idk why but when you were in Home Depot and you said you didn't know what you're doing anymore, I wanted to hug you. 💛
i admire and respect ur independence. I have to lean on myself in mylife too so i know how hard it is sometimes. seeing u carrying, buying building stuff all by yourself is very impressive! love you michelle!
Can’t wait to get my own place. Won’t be for a few years but it will happen when I’m financially ready but for now I’m good with student accommodation.
but how did you make the TV wire disappear! that's been on my mind since your IG stories 😂
Omg what a beautiful apartment! U really got a big apartment even for NYC! So lucky! Wish u all the best Michelle. Looking forward to witness your next achievement in USA! Godspeed from Indonesia
I love the fact that you just doing it only by yourself, and everything feel soooooooo independent. I love your video
You’re so independent, Michelle. I love your kind of style. Stay healthy and positive. Sending you much love from Indonesia 💕 💕 💕
For people asking about how she can afford her apartment, I'm guessing she lives in queens somewhere or basically a neighborhood that's not manhattan, LIC, or the "nicer" parts of brooklyn like williamsburg, dumbo, etc. (as michelle said in her video, she doesn't actually live in the city and that's probably how she is able to afford an apartment that would have otherwise costed like 4x more in manhattan). Rent in manhattan is incredibly expensive - and as a new yorker in my mid-20s/software engineer who's been in the city for quite some time now - even with my salary of 200K+ (and friends who work in investment banking/lawyers that make good money), I don't live in a one bedroom apartment (in manhattan). Most of my friends live in a studio as well (but keep in mind they make at least 180K and above) and MANY people have roommates because rent is just so expensive here. I do know people living in one-bedrooms (my boyfriend lol but he owns his apartment) but that's honestly up to how much you want to spend your earnings on rent
Just out of curiosity what is considered cheep in Manhattan and what is considered cheep in Queens?
Even in the “nicer” parts of other boroughs, an apt like this is extremely hard to afford on your own unless you’re making a really decent amount of money. So I guess we can just assume she had a very good income.
RUclips + new job = sweet apartment in NY. This all makes sense now. I must have missed the vlog where you talked about the new job. Congrats!
she's doing YT full time.
I cannot agree more!! asking someone else how much they pay for rent is not only a strange but also rude question to ask... I always feel so uncomfortable and speechless/lost when people asking me that. I've been living alone for about a year now, and I KEEP getting that question :/// the build up gets really annoying... anyways, I feel for you and 100% support your choice to keep such private info to yourself :)))
we love an independent girlll 💕 congrats on the move, I'm so happy for you 😊
You really nice person to hang with I struggle to be too nice to the wrong people this video helped me thinking more about the people I talk to ik it’s weird
I just started watching her and 1 minute in I’m so inspired. She literally said she could ask her parents for help but she wanted to do it independently. Props to her for that
That's awesome you found a place you like in NYC. I'm hoping to be like you and get a place too...I'm still looking for work. I have one opportunity at my previous university for a position. The interview last Thursday (1.5hrs long o.O) I think went well. I was also sent home a simulation interview question about the job. I answered all 7 questions, just two questions I was iffy on. I hope I did well. I really want this job >.< ; it would change my life tbh.
Ooh your apartment looks so fancy and modern looking! I completely agree with you being comfortable in your own space-- I've always felt the same, so when I relocated to Midwest for my job I got an apartment that was a little bit more expensive than what I intended to spend. But as long as you can afford it and feel comfortable in it, by all means!!! You are an inspiration, keep up the good work!:D
so glad this popped up on my feed. I moved to NYC by myself early 2019 as well to start a new job and it was not easy. I feel your struggles, keep it up~
I so *DESPERATELY* wanted to help you with your suitcases😭😭
Also what ever happened to your cat?
This level of independence is so inspiring!! Looking forward to living on my own someday too!
Don't worry about everyone else! You're doing great and inspiring me as I near the end of my college education as well.
omg you’re the most independent person i know i aspire to be like you!! ✊🏻✊🏻
Omg soooo happy, literally was smiling the whole time watching this! Do you think you'll do an official tour after you decorate? Congrats again, love you💜
You go, girl! There is nothing wrong with being an independent woman who has what she needs/wants and works hard to obtain what she needs/wants. Be proud of yourself. I am also a fellow "young" woman who gets backlash for my achievements and I responded very similarly to you when I received comments. I seriously clap to you. Do you, boo. And never let anyone bring you down because you deserve what you have.
I always go back to this video bec of the push I get to be better at being self-dependent. This is probably my go-to Michelle vlog!
Michelle don't pay attention to the haters and their negative comments. You're doing fabulous and continue to do you. I'm proud of you and hapoy for you....congratulations
you make me so excited to move in to a new place omg
wow michelle upload at the right time. these past few days I was thinking to myself that I don't want to rely on my parents anymore and i want to start something for myself but don't know how. In other words don't know if i should do it. But after i watched your video and you said " we all have to start somewhere" has made me realize that i should start now
You’re honestly such an inspiration and I hope I can be as spontaneous as you one day. This is a bold decision and just letting u know, u got 100% of my support :).
So happy for you Michelle! Been following you since day 1 and can’t believe how far you’ve come. I really enjoy all your vlogs and still go back to your old ones 🥰
Also just wanted to say I know you don’t come from a wealthy family but to all those people saying that, there’s nothing wrong with having rich parents who will and can support you. Parents work hard for their kids.
Stop judging so much just because she’s able to do things on her own.
I’m a fan now
I LOVE INDEPENDENT WOMAN who even struggle doing something but still doing it, learning and doing it better
LOVE
You’re so inspiring. You’re truly living your best life and chasing after your dreams. Packing up and moving somewhere completely new can be very intimidating yet you jumped right into it. 💗❣️
I admire how you’re doing this by yourself. I hope one day I can be as independent as you and be able to afford my own place.
Good job on handling all of this on your own! ♥️
I also moved to another country on my own and I think it's important for girls to see that they can. My culture is really patriarchal so I had this thought on the back of my head that it’ll be too much for me. Luckily, I just did it and all of that limiting believes are gone now.
Michelle, your videos inspire me to study harder on college, graduate and get a great job! People will talk because they are just jealous of all of your achievements! And honestly you should feel proud of yourself and ignore the bad vibes! I hope to watch sooner the final result of your apartment👌🏻💗 As I said before you are doing great sweetie, I stan and admire an independent woman
I only think it's curiosity because I can't afford that kind of lifestyle and wanna know how it would be possible. I don't think it's to be mean! I'm really curious about your work :)
Has she ever disclosed what she does for a living?
I just discovered her channel and wondering how she can afford it, too. Haha. I'm from LA and that being a first apt is just not possible for most people - naturally makes people curious.
Um youtuber??
Doesn’t all youtubers can afford this kind of lifestyles hence make it all possible ? Because i’ve been following some youtubers with less than 500k subs and they can really afford this apt
@@adiralailihawa2096 I've seen that, too! But most also say they're going broke and the adpocalypse and all that.
Doesn't add up. Didn't realize YT was that profitable for small channels.
celifacejones you can watch any youtubers whose willing to disclose their yt payment. I can say with 300k subs , their monthly payment is 4x more than any average salary (average salary might vary to every country, but in my country that’s how it is)
the apartment looks super nice and comfy, i'm glad you feel happier ♥
Where did you buy your cookware?! SO CUTE! Please share! So excited for you to enjoy NYC; that apartment's natural lighting is to die for
Congratulations for being such an independent woman, your parents must be so proud of you! I'll just be waiting for the full apartment tour (when it's already all furnished, if you want). Sending love and support from INDONESIA! Love you michelle!
So inspiring Michelle !! This is what actually a girl try to learn for ur quite inspiring life ! 😍😍
It's super inspiring that you've flown from Korea all the way to New York and everything seems a new start! You've got to adapt to new people, new environment and new culture all on your own. This is so difficult and might be frustrated at first. But I'll keep supporting you! Don't mind those haters!!
I'm so shocked that u did everything on ur own...So awesome...ur great mich😚😚😚
You did an amazing job of moving all of that stuff into your apartment by yourself and building things by yourself. Very impressed with you. Your apartment is beautiful. Wish you the best.
people are weird ... you are one of the most genuine youtubers out there and you have been from the start. it's rude people are assuming that you have a "rich family" or "rich boyfriend" who are paying for your expenses ... when you have been self-sufficient for awhile now. this move was a shock to me but not to the point where i believe you forced yourself into this situation, it just was time for a new start. i see how good this experience is for you and i'm so so proud of how far you've gone. you're strong, i know you don't take toxic comments like those seriously but i'm commenting to let you know that i support u!!
thank you so much for sharing your your growing up experience with us.. I want to become independent myself and sometimes it can be scary.. it's really comforting to know someone on this planet is going through the same challenges right now. I wish you all the best
Your vlog gives me so much hope. So thankyou
Give love to our independent queen 💕💕💕 Thank you for sharing your life with us from Korea to New York. It's kinda cool to see differences in the cultures of us. In my country Vietnam, I think it's bizarre to move to another city or country by yourself as a girl in such young age. But you make it feels so fun and exciting. Girl power forever!! Keep being you and feed us more videos💕💕 Much loveeee
Wow I gotta say, that is such a nice apartment for living solo in NY! Plus you have your own washer and dryer! Am so jealous!! Please share some tips on this move. Thanks!
Congratulations Michelle, I'm so happy for you and proud of you for making your dreams come true.
My first time watching. Live your life. NEVER give energy to mediocre individuals. You owe no one but yourself. Enjoy your new surroundings!
Aww I’m so happy for you! This inspires me a lot, the fact that you’re such a hard working woman and did something spontaneous is so dope, and hopefully someday I’ll be able to do something like that myself, ily, wish u the best, and stay happy/healthy 💕💕💕
I'm so proud to see you moving to NY!!! Thank you for sharing the next chapter of your adulthood journey. You are an inspiration to all of us who are just starting to see the real world. Can't wait for your next video! Mmmbbbyyyyeeeeeee!!!!! 👋👋👋👋👋
Congratulations Michelle! It such a meaningful experience to move out on your own and starting your life « all over » in New York! I’m so proud of you personally and I wish you the best in your new apartment!
I'm so amazed by how independent you are, Michelle 💞💞💞 I aspire to be like you once I graduated from college next month !😬 wish me luck! 💕💕
Whether she used her own money or her parents money or boyfriends money, regardless she is still living her dream without doing anything illegal and that is a #respect from me, nice vid and music
dear michelle , I hv been watching your video since last year and I am really proud and happy how grown u hv become as a person. in our place young adult just try to stick with their parents for they want leisure life but seeing u makes me want to do something different . iam in last year of my college and hopefully I can make it . p.s YOU ARE A BLESSING TO WOMEN KIND
Congratulations on the big move, try not to worry about what other people think, it’s private and you don’t need to tell anyone
Good for you!!! Since you’ve moved to New York now I feel like your channel has started a new season and I am loving it sooo much! Thank you for sharing your story with us 💙💙💙 I think it’s brave you do that.💪
you're such an inspiration. please tell us how you started to live your life by yourself and not depending to your parents. Have a nice days in NYC!
I just love how you're doing all this stuff all by yourself, even though we know we all need help at one point or other. You're such an inspiration Michelle. I have been following and watching your videos since your early grwm vids and i must say you've grown so much since that,in a good way. Love you.
I have watched your progress since still college student until now. You’re inspiring people out there, to live the life that we want. You don’t need to explain everything michelle, let them be. Just do what’s make you happy. Self-love & self-care is very important.
I want to suggest you to see channel “the sorry girls” maybe it will give you inspire to make over your apartment, because all the stuff is DYI and I think you will love it (and it will save a cost too) goodluck michelle 💕
I feel like Im so connected with meeshy.Thank you for your endless efforts in continuosly updating us in both IG and YT. ❤🇵🇭
i really want to be like you, cause you're so independent! go girl, the world is yours!!
For your tv stand, you should paint the bricks white and then use a marble contact paper on the wood.
you're such an independent chick! i love it and you're such an inspiration to me. i can't wait to pay off all my debt, start saving up where i can be comfortable enough, and move out on my own! i'm already independent, so all i need to do is to finish my goals! you motivate me to be more aware of my spendings and just keep on moving towards my goal! ❤️
That’s so much work omg hope you are having a great time in nyc!!!❤️
your transitions are EVERYTHING
look what i discovered...just enjoy watching ur videos and how u share ur life. I'm about to graduate and it's my goal to move into an apartment and afford it by myself haha
This is somehow so inspiring! Idk how but watching you adulting, do things on your own, growing up by yourself with your own money.... This is very inspiring to me, I just suddenly wanted to move out from home and survive alone like you! I respect you so much Michelle, love you heaps!❤ I can't wait for house tour tho! Hihi
Thank you for sharing your ghetto console journey! It made everything more real to me
It's really great that you include something so important as getting insurance for your house and all. As we grow up to want to live on our own there are things we have to deal with! Very nice to see you going to this journey. In a couple of years I'll go through it soon?
