retrocub #1 she writes all of her songs. #2 you say she’s not shocking, I’m pretty sure bleeding on your stage is pretty shocking I would say, especially judging from the gasps of the audience in that performance, the 2009 VMAs in case you don’t know. #3 she’s shocking but she’s also umm talented. Vocally she’s extremely versatile, from pop to rock to jazz. She’s done it all. Not to mention just being in a movie that’s getting rave reviews most of which are for her. After 10 years she’s not disappearing. She’s only growing stronger and stronger. People say she’s a flop but she’s about to make $1 million per show for her Vegas shows, doesn’t sound like a flop to me
retrocub k I didn’t say she didn’t have help writing her own songs. She may not write it all by herself but who writes all their songs all by themselves. I sure as hell know Madonna doesn’t. Even Frank Sinatra who is one of the greatest vocalists of our time only actually wrote a handful of his songs. And if she’s a has been why was she just nominated for a SAG award, a golden globe, a critics choice award for her first movie ever
retrocub Gaga got the first Icon Award in the songwriters hall of fame. And yeah that’s the point, she’s redefining the “has-beens” idea of Vegas shows bc that’s what she does. She changes the rules. And how did she make an impact? Well in her music she always makes it into art, it’s not just meaningless, on red carpets she always makes statements. And after Lady Gaga people started doing the same, they made political and artistic statements in their fashion and their performances. To talk about her VMAs performance again, that performance changed how pop music was perceived, it could be meaningful. She showed what fame could do to people, like what it did with Marilyn Monroe and Amy Winehouse. Oh and every one of her albums since Born This Way have hit #1 on the Billboard 200, including the A Star is Born soundtrack which was just released this year. And the reason her shows aren’t quite as big is bc her music has changed. She’s now done jazz with Tony Bennett which isn’t mainstream and country with Joanne. And Joanne made a huge impact, after Joanne people started doing “rootsy” albums. Just look at Kesha with Rainbow and Miley Cyrus with Younger Now.

So refreshing to see a veteran little monster right there! I feel you, got the same energy. I cried every song she performed from her early works, esp tracks from BTW album. We all know how she outdid herself from TFM and BTW tours and still managed to bring back her signature choreo and old style in here. You can really tell how much she loves her fan and she's still out there making honey for her little monsters. Paws up! 🤍

I have Fibromyalgia as well. Actually every women on my moms side of the family has it. Just varies in strength of the disease. We've been in car wrecks and broken bones... and yes those hurt, but we've dealt with death and break ups or familes and that stress, the week my dad died I couldn't move. I couldn't even get out of bed it was so bad.
So having the injury. The called off engagement. The movie. The album. The tour. AHS. Her body was probably losing its effing minds with pain signals. And she got up and kept going. She's a true star.
Watching her cry in her documentary and saying she was so embarrassed to be receiving pain management treatments it was like "girl that's what were doing here everyday." It's sad that we feel we have to hide our illnesses to avoid looking weak

I had a coworker who went to a bunch of her shows and I was who? Now she is my favorite artist and I can't think of anyone on her level of versatility and uniqueness right now. Maybe Bebe Rexha and Ava Max a little. They are Gaga's next generation perhaps.

Just saw chromatica 2 days ago in Miami. My favorite singer for a reason! Every era is a new look , improved vocals, new storyline . Yet brings the same beautiful , high energy atmosphere that it has for years , very much a proud little monster . She's accomplished so much !😢

I saw her in DC when she won the AMA. That was the best night of my life, I cried like a baby during million reasons and lost my absolute shit when she did the cure with all of the pyrotechnics, then watching her win the award was the icing on the cake. I love her and have never cried so much in my life.
Love this tour because she doesn’t use a lot of her energy on dancing as much as the other tours so that way she can focus on bringing more vocals

I just come here after watching the Chromatica Ball, praising it because of the visuals, the energy, the vocals, thinking it was her best show since Artpop and I have to admit I was completely ignoring THIS. Here Gaga looks and sounds amazing and the visuals are on point too. She's one of the greatest

We watched the Vancouver show. Since it was the first show, we had no idea what to expect and what would happen. We kept guessing how Gaga hop between the stages: wire? Tunnel? Our mouths dropped when the bridges started dropping down!

Lady Gaga really is the only person in which whenever she smiles, I automatically, subconsciously also have a huge smile on my face 😊❤ This woman changed my life from a young 16 year old LGBTQ+ member that was scared, outcasted, and self conscious into the proud, liberated, ideal version of myself that I was always meant to be. She really was The Cure that I needed.

You'd never know GaGA is suffering from chronic pain and fatigue to look at her performing in this live show! I suffer from fibromyalgia too and it's a daily battle to live with it and to do the most basic of thing's! Yet here she is putting on quite the performance,i guess that thirst for money & fame is strong! Us monsters sure do appreciate it and totally got my paws up lol! Thanks for sharing,isn't she great?
The vocals, visuals and setlist are literally peak Gaga (for me). So blessed to see this tour in Philly (day two so no BM, DIC or Pap :-() and I really hope Chromatica Ball is happening. We need to see what tricks she’d pull for that setlist, the worlds of Joanne and Chromatica are so different!

First time watching THE JOANNE WOLD TOUR and I got say... She's still got it. This great !!!
My heart broke completely when she cancelled the Joanne Tour 2 days before I waa about to see her in Stockholm. I 100% understood why, but I was still kinda bitter. But i can promise she made it up for with the Chromatica Ball concert. I cryed like a kid when the interlude started and she went on with a bang and opened with such a raw version of Bad Romance. It was such a punch in the face and then it leveled up by 100%. I could barely breath through the concert because it was magnificent! She's abother level and outstanding live! Her voice, performance, stage presence and charisma is very hard to find these days but also being very authentic and organic at the same time. This is why she's the leading powerhouse of today.

I have been to at least 800 various concerts and broadway shows, over 1000 if I include small local shows. I was at this show, went last minute, and SO glad I did because it was THE greatest production I have and possibly will ever see. Absolutely spectacular and always changing staging, crisp lighting, the dancing, and sounding…crystal clear. I took my 87 year old friend Carl who passed away last year to the show, we were in the ga floor, he loved it, stood the whole night for hours with glee! I would stand for days to see this show again. I’m worried chromatica isn’t as impressive, from the clips I watched on here? Idk maybe Hershey next Sunday???

If you think about it she performed most of ARTPOP at the artRAVE so I can see why wanted to bring back other songs she hasn’t sang in a while (Scheibe, LoveGame, and Bloody Mary hadn’t been performed since the BTWB unless you count Coachella).

@@MyNameisDC During the monster ball, she avoided singing Fame songs unless they were hits, same with with BTWB and the fame monster, as well as artrave and BTW. Enigma will pay justice to Artpop
