Am a Geordie who's lived in this area since I was 14 (51 now). Seen some changes to Carrow, mainly that the surrounding road the ground is named after, used to be right by your hotel and the adjacent Barclay Stand. I've stood in there 3 times to see a 2-0 NUFC defeat, then the Mirandinha debut 1-1 and best of all was us stopping Norwich winning the Barclays League when Mira & Liam O'Brien scored us a rare away win during a Div 1 season when we finally got relegated. We also nearly sank into the 3rd before Keegan's fabled return.... Funny that you've been to 2 different grounds I've visited frequently in a short time (Hillheads and now here). I really hope we can take 3pts because we owe them from 2019 and haven't beaten City since 2016. But take heart from the fact the fans are generally pleasant people (Norfolk people take a while to trust folk, where we Geordies are far more outgoing). But Norwich itself has similarities to Newcastle, with a passionate support, tidy ground well located to a station and city centre within a reasonable walk. Also has a city centre with both a castle and cathedral, plus a large ancient percentage of the city still protected from demolition too. Plenty of pubs and one or two good music venues. Where you're located there's decent shopping, a cinema, Chinese buffet, bowling alley. Oh yes, and don't be fooled by thinking Norwich is the flat part of Norfolk. If you walk into the centre, you'll find the castle sits on a hill that falls away in all directions.

I nearly pooped when I saw Wallsend Metro station! I'm from Wallsend as well! I thought Adam would have come from Jesmond or Gosforth because he looks canny posh! :D 1-0 to the Mags Woods 3rd goal of the season!

Technically Eddie Howe gives everyone his Signature as it comes in the Programme. So in my opinion I have no need to wait to see him. Unless I really want to see him.
