Life of Imam Ali | 9 | Imam Ali's worldview: Letter to Malik al-Ashtar

In this session we discuss the aftermath of the battle of Siffin, as the commander Malik al-Ashtar is sent in to Egypt to assist Muhammad ibn Abu Bakir in halting the growing rebellion.
Imam Ali (as) sends Malik a letter instructing him on how to lead his people - revealing much of the political, sociological and spiritual worldview of Imam Ali (as). This letter may be regarded as a manifesto of how one is to become a true follower of Ali ibn Abi Talib.
