the trick for fridge ice is to put a tiny bit of orange blossom water (you know like the orange blossom distilled water in the tiny little bottle) you wont taste it but it will neutralize the taste of the drink and get rid of the nasty fridge ice taste (which i also HATE!) also check if your fridge needs a new filter.
All of these recipes look so yummy! For the roasted garlic something I do so I don't burn my fingers is I use silicon ended tongs and I use that to squeeze the garlic and press on the silicon end with my fingers so they aren't touching the hot garlic directly, it has worked for me!
Pro tip for the garlic: break apart the cloves before you roast them. You can cut off the tops like usual if you want & definitely wrap then in foil with some olive oil. They cook faster, cool off faster because they’re not all bunched up together & are way easier to peel.
