What a great piece of machinery! Glad to see one still being used.

I don't know much about farming but I'd like to learn. I've got about 25 acres of fields that's not doing anything. A small machine like this would be perfect. Why don't they make equipment for small timers like me anymore?

they dont make it like this anymore because they want to control the production of food and leave it all up to massive farms , as you can see, we now have crop losses and food shortages because those who control the food, make it so you cannot, we need to go back to these days, where we all support each other and grow healthy food locally and for the world ...but this is what is now going on ...ruclips.net/video/V2decDcEJqo/видео.html

Bradley'sCoFarm I'm not sure. It is my uncle's machine and he was running it. it looks pretty slow like 4th or 5th high gear

on a AC D15 2nd gear low range 1/3 throttle in heavy soybeans 2nd high in wheat just cutting the top 6 inches of the straw

brokenwrench1 that sounds right. I was basing it off feel from the old days of cutting hay. We always ran 5th or 6th high which is a bit fast but had to to get it all down.

@@brokenwrench1 do not run that combine at 1/3 throttle. It needs to be running at the full 540 PTO rpm for the speeds of the harvester to be correct

@@RJ1999x the AC dealer came and delivered the combine to dad and had a tachometer he set the engine speed based off the operators book at the rear of the combine then adjusted the cylinder rpm for the grain and set the air . the 540 pto rpm is a under full load speed on a dyno. the pto rpm is about 640 on my farmalls and 606 rpm on our wd45 and d15.. wide open throttle at no load.. we has 4 farmers close to us that had either 72s or 90s and the couple that ran them at full throttle had far more breakdowns than we did.. run them too fast and they would shake apart the operators book warned about over rpm of the machine
