- I thought I would challenge myself by only catching what I can today with a Grim Workshop Survival card. My goal is to catch and cook some fish tacos.
After a few smaller Island Survival Challenges earlier this year, I finally found the perfect Island for a 7-day island survival Challenge. Plenty of trees for building an awesome survival bushcraft camp and a beautiful lake full of fish. My goal is to catch and cook something different every day and Build an awesome bushcraft camp to have my adventure at.

Umm….did anyone else see the animal to the right when Zac was grinding his coffee by the fire in the beginning?? I couldn’t tell if it was a deer or what. To the editor…loved the entro on the play off of Game of Thrones. 🤣. Wouldn’t be a Zac video without a “Dear Diary” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

@@casperfasano413 As to what it was, I'll need a bigger screen. Best guess, it's put there by the owners, likely the chickens too...well, it sure looked like a chicken egg. A couple left there would be safe from predation and keep the island from becoming overgrown and unusable. Sure beats going out 3-4 times/year with a string trimmer.

Being able to just be out, on an island and surviving off the land… I don’t think you can call yourself a human if you don’t want to get out and try to be self reliant. These videos are amazing bc they keep people involved with nature. Thank you!!
If you don’t want to progress society as a whole and want technology to continue to progress like hundreds of generations of ancestors before you then I don’t think you can call yourself a human…

@@DCking14682 I'm fine with technology expanding so long as people don't become even more reliant on it. The problem I have is when people keep expanding into what little wilderness we have left.
@@DCking14682 then you should know how fragile technology really is... of something were to happen and the power grid went down, we would all need these survival skills that Fowler is showing us. Technology is great but, it can disappear in the blink of an eye.
I found it funny when the deer just came by when you were grinding the coffee then just walked away like not a dude talking and making coffee is not surprising

65 degrees with 80 percent humidity feels like in the 80’s. N.C. We sometimes experience all four seasons in one week. In the country last weekend 39 degrees at night daytime 82. Cray, Cray weather. But Happy Fall Y’all 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🥰.

I live in North Carolina, yes you’re right it’s a different kind of muggy. I keep my house at 65 in the winter and 70-72 in the summer. At 60 I have a jacket on. At about 98 degrees and 98% humidity is when I start to get to hot.
Pretty sure that was a goose egg you found by the way. I find them all the time while hiking small river islands. Often being guarded by the mother goose.
