Update* just got my vintage 12 watt fast feed and 12 watt vintage detachable blade Oster Lucky Dog. Gorgeous motors and quality I'm cleaning and sanitizing them so that I can learn to utilize and appreciate them I'm so happy. Man they are quiet!!! Going to make these extra special!!! Thank you for the inspiration to aquire these I had no idea how incredibly gratifying and appreciative I'd be of a piece of history that just blows all the modern clippers I own out of the water!!! I'm my opinion Ok maybe not all!
yep, exactly that. A little fiddly with the slightly different switch mechanism but straight forward enough. It is exactly the same motor in both clippers though. Incidentally, It's been over a year and a half since i did this and it's still running perfectly every day in the shop.
