@@dineth_mada I think it was a desperate move for her, like "f**k it! if we die, we die together". Max didn't want to be forced again to choose to live in one of the two "shitty futures" and suffering again, so it was a last resort. A last resort that worked, for the first time ever she fixed time.
I think it’s weird how more people actually accepted Safi. She was clearly crazy with a god complex, especially after earlier she used her power to do bad things. It was pretty obvious she had become villainous, and it’s something that Max would want no part of.
There's a paper on Gwen's desk where Reggie's describing how hot Vinh is, without naming him. He's got a gigantic crush on Vinh but I'm unsure how they get together, it's possible on some playthroughs that they don't.

It's safe to say that Max power level increased by A LOT from 10yrs ago, because she actually and successfully fixed time without killing someone or killing an entire town. Hurrayyyyy for Super Max! Yeah, MTE. I mean, some shows have had very similar plot points before, but personally I thought about Doctor Who the entire time - they had a storyline where a character created a major paradox by not killing someone she already knew she was supposed to kill (saw herself do it in an earlier point in her timeline), and then time literally broke. Everything happened everywhere all at once, and people who could remember both timelines were very confused, stuck with multiple version of the same events in their head. Also, people being erased entirely from multiple realities/time lines/overall existence due to a paradox (such as interacting with a version of themselves), like happened to the detective here, is a very common time travel trope. Still very much enjoyed this story despite it feeling a bit predictable, and seeing how confused non-sci-fi fans were, is def kinda fun lol :)
I can understand why fans have had such mixed reactions but I knew going in the things they complain about would happen. Is there room for improvement absolutely. However, I went in for atmosphere and mystery and twists. It delivered on that. What's more, I'm a bit of a heretic, because I did not care for either ending of the original and so was perfectly fine with a soft reboot. Even if this franchise dies, Max ended in a much better place.

They got together in the bowling alley during the storm, Max basically tells Vinh to go take care of Reggie.
It will be interesting imo to find out if Safi found Alex and Daniel. Or if everyone she met just got powers like Diamond.

I feel like the end choice of Refuse or Agree to Safi really didn't give much of any difference to the ending.
