- For days, I searched for a song that would fit Ardyn, who is my favorite character, and I couldn't find one that was good enough, but then one night I accidentally came across this song and thought it was perfect for him; I love how much it suits him and that the voice and music sound similar to Ardyn and his official themes. I'm very happy with how this video turned out, especially with the timing in several parts, and I really hope that you love it as well. :)

Note: I chose to title this video as an AMV instead of an GMV not only because AnimeMusicVideos.Org considers Final Fantasy cutscenes to be anime because they are Japanese animation, but also because I had always believed that AMV stood for 'Animated Music Video', which consists primarily of cutscenes, and that GMV stood for 'Gameplay Music Video', which consists primarily of actual gameplay footage and are similar to trailers. If you have a problem with it, please don't comment about it as this is how I've always organized my videos and will continue to do so in the future.

What is cool with Ardyn is that he can be seen as a protagonist, with his own story. Such a complex villain.
But for me, the real villain of FFXV is Bahamut. I would have love so much to see Dawn of The Future as a DLC...

I have to say, this has to be one of the best Ardyn AMV's I've seen so far. Song and scenes go hand-in-hand and, as you said in description, this song fits the character. Perfectly, non the less.
This actually sounds like ardyn if he ever decided to sing. (Ardyn would be a great Disney villain)

The interesting thing about Ardyn is that he won. He wanted to kill the lucis caylum bloodline and he succeeded, either he would kill noctic himself or he dies and noctis will have to kill himself to truly kill ardyn. Ardyn is one of my favorite villain ever because he was a good man but fate said he will be otherwise. Ardyn had no choice.

I absolutely love Aviators, and this was an amazing song choice. I especially liked the parts around 1:00, there were some movements that were just perfectly in sync with the music. And you edited really well for the lyrics! Great job!

As for Our Little Horror Story, I've had it on my To-Do-List for a while now along with several other songs by Aviators, so I'll make it eventually, but it will have to wait until at least May because I'm currently working on another Ardyn AMV with Remains by Aviators, which I'm hoping will be finished in time for Ardyn's birthday (April 30th). :)

Do you mean why the Lucis Caelum bloodline had to die out? If so then IIRC, it didn't actually have to die out, but Noctis just didn't father any children before his sacrifice in the "Accept Your Fate' timeline, so the bloodline naturally ended with him. As for why Ardyn wanted it to die out, he hated the Lucis Caelum bloodline due to what Somnus and the Crystal/Bahamut did to him, so he just wanted to get revenge on them by bringing their bloodline to an end.
@@PhantomWolf64 I don't think Ardyn wanted the bloodline to die out specifically. If he did, he would have killed Noctis' father in his episode. He wanted revenge against his brother at first and then against the Crystal and Gods for rejecting him and dooming him to a fate of darkness. If he resisted that fate, Balmut would literally torture him until he accepted it.
@@demonwolf570 Actually, Ardyn did try to kill Regis in his episode, the only reason he didn't was because Bahamut intervened and stopped him right before he delivered the killing blow. Also, in the original Japanese version, his "Tonight, the dreams of the blood royal... come to an end" line is "Finally, I can crush the future of Royal Blood.", which definitely sounds to me like he wanted to end the bloodline. Although, judging from what he chose to do in the 'Resist Your Fate' timeline, Ardyn wanted revenge against Bahamut more than he wanted the Lucis Caelum bloodline to die out.
@@PhantomWolf64 actually 'Resist your Fate' is a timeline leading to Dawn of the Future
@Flashprime2k21 Yes, I know that; I merely prefer to call the alternate timelines by the choices that the characters made or what caused them to happen, so I use 'Resist Your Fate' for the Dawn of the Future timeline, 'Submit To Fate' for the original timeline, and 'Play Along' and 'Game Over' for two of the three timelines in Episode Ignis.

The artist said that this song is from the perspective of a character named Nightmare from FNaF4. I'm not sure if the song was actually used in the game or not as I haven't played them yet.
