gotta upgrade that clutch and while the engine is out, it would be easier to do a coolant reroute. yes the cheap eBay stuff sounds tempting but do not use an eBay turbo unless it is the one that everyone on Miata turbo uses. Get a standalone and a wideband. check out mkturbo or attempt a DIY around a journal Garrett t25. those can be found for cheap. good luck and I will be watching.

Yeah I've come off the idea of using an fmu. Ordering from diypnp relatively soon, thank you for the advice. Currently looking at clutch and reroutes. Have any input about building an ecu? Videos look pretty simple. But id hate to take on something i couldnt handle.

for the ecu check go on Facebook and check out Ohio ECU Solutions. They had a group buy deal going on for a very very very competitive price for megasquirt ecu's. The lead time is long, but he knows megasquirt crazy well and will help you on each step. plus you all have some engine work to do anyway lol. Another thing check out fab9 tuning. the place promotes bulk buying as shipping is $9 no matter how much you buy.
