La necropoli di “Centocamere” deve la sua suggestiva denominazione alla presenza di numerose tombe collegate tra di loro da un intricato sistema di fori e di cunicoli aperti nelle pareti delle camere scavate nella roccia tufacea !Le tombe risalgono al VII sec. a.C.
The necropolis of "Centocamere" owes its evocative name to the presence of numerous tombs connected to each other by an intricate system of holes and tunnels open in the walls of the chambers carved into the tufa rock! The tombs date back to the 7th century. B.C.
Некрополь «Чентокамера» обязан своим вызывающим воспоминания названием наличию многочисленных гробниц, соединенных между собой сложной системой отверстий и туннелей, открытых в стенах камер, высеченных в скале туфа! Гробницы датируются 7 веком. ДО Н.Э.
