The Moviegoer has nothing to do with Catholicism and certainly is not a 'Catholic' novel. Nor was he a 'Catholic' novelist, no matter what youtube says about Percy or any of his novels.
Interesting. Care to elaborate? I've grown less and less impressed with Percy as I've read the rest of his novels since recording this episode. Though I think Moviegoer is his best novel.
