In the first installment, join Kathy McKenzie and Glenn Church discussing their latest book "Humbled: How California's Monterey Bay Escaped Industrial Ruin."
Detailing the often overlooked history of how Elkhorn Slough and Monterey Bay very nearly became home to a massive oil refinery in the 1960s, "Humbled" takes a closer look at one of the earliest confrontations between industrial capitalism and a budding environmental movement.
