Did you ever ascend Inferno Ring? I think bottom ascend would make the meteor really powerful.

What ISAB said would have been closer to a simile than a metaphor. He said it was “like” cancer.
Possibly could've squeezed a few more rounds of the PL by spamming the hook ability on earlier rounds and making money that way

@@justenoughrandomness8989 it probably would have been helpful, but I think saving for damage and speed might be more efficient even tho they are more expensive. Therefore I think the 3 he got was enough

Thank you, ISAB, for using ascended upgrades on fully upgraded towers (More specifically 250 Monkey Buccaneer), thus further increasing their power and popping capabilities, to pop the Bloons. What ever would we do without your grandeur? Surely we would fall, as there would be no one to pop the one enemy of monkey kind. Even though the battle is eternal, you cull the battle of war, and for that, not only I, but all of monkey kind give you our gratitude and upmost respect.

you should know by now that ISAB has no understanding of how damage and Pierce interact.
But he can just micro a bit and then spend the money he saved on damage. His run did not end to pierce, it ended because of a lack of damage. So spending the money on pierce is literally just for convenience and less micro, and then he would die to a fBAD earlier.

You’d have to buy quite a lot to upgrade the pierce by any amount (10% and it rounds down, so…). When it’s compounding you’re almost certainly better off not splitting things evenly
@@appl7781 well, it ended to a lack of damage, and he hit pierce cap multiple times that round, most notably on the bad insides. if he had enough pierce, he could just set it on strong and have it do 100% uptime on the bad damage, but it got bodyblocked by the grouped moabs.
Can’t wait for ascended Farms. Bet it’s going to get past 300, not sure though.

If the speed upgrade made the marketplace give lives faster or if the dmg one made it give mor elives, it wouldnt necessarily be impossible
The only balloon that can beat the farm is regrow camo red. Nothing can beat that

i agree. Perhaps it's the fact that he dies to the f-bad at the end regardless that makes the perceived value of the pierce upgrade for him so bad
I mean he honestly has a really good point. He died to an FBAD. Not from being pierce capped. If a little bit of micro lets him survive and not spend money on an upgrade that he does not need, money that can buy more damage for the Bloons that matter like BADs, then yeah. Force is just not good.

It wasnt a buff it was a bug fix. The faster shooting never increased the attack speed of the cannons and the grapes and now that they fixed the buff its preety damn good but they had to nerf the base dmg to not make it too op
Overall its a buff from the percentage they nerfed it

not really he means the projectiles are hit by other bloons and since theyre bombs they cant reach the further bloons even if it doesnt use up its pierce

hey isab, hopefully i can help u with a bit of the math behind this challenge
the growth of blimp speed and hp (according to the wiki) have large jumps in difficulty in the early round 100s and at round 150. outside of these jumps, the growth looks linear. compared to the exponential effects of the ascended upgrades (described as a *1.05 per level, getting more powerful over time), the upgrades are able to outpace blimp ramping in the end behavior.
however, your pirate run ran into the cost problem, where a tower rarely scales well enough to cash out on the range where exponential takes over (in your analogy - where you grow faster than cancer? lol). most towers can't reach this point, and their effect can never "snowball" into an infinite run.
in particular, i noticed that with all three upgrades being exponential, pierce upgrades are still relevant at a lesser degree than speed than attack dmg and speed. watching closely as the plord loses to the insides at 16:20, the grapes and even main attack are pierce capped while hitting the bfb and moab clump. this indicates that pierce is still a good investment, as it will be increasing the overall dmg of the tower. however this pierce buff does to equate to a damage buff forever, it serves as a bridge to allow more towers to reach the infinite point on dmg and speed.
Pretty sure round 201 was beatable with the targetting on last. 10% faster attack with all of these attack speed upgrades elevates the DPS by a LOT

Tier list for monkey knowledge which increases attack speed for sniper/sub/boat when targeted to 'last':
Sniper -> F tier
Sub -> B tier
Boat -> S tier
This was a very fun video, I love the possibilities that the Ascended Mod opens up, but shouldn't you have been spamming the P Lord ability for more money for more upgrades? Maybe Techbot it? I'm not exactly sure how the money from P Lord's hook works, especially in super late game rounds, so maybe it wouldn't be efficient money-wise to do so, you tell me :)

It be interesting to see after these videos. To go again with like 3-5 farms mabye just see how far something really could go
It reaches a point of near infinite rounds once the ascended upgrades outpace ramping. Pirate Lord here even showcased that, after a brutal 20 or so rounds it actually got easier up till round 200.
The upgrades are multiplicative, 1.1x per, eventually this becomes so strong that a tower could literally survive a thousand rounds without much struggle
@@fusionwing4208 is the price not going to outpace the farms though
@@rayandthejets eventually the price will, but, if you were to say, go for 1 banana central and 2 BRFs (should be doable prior to round 100 with most towers), you can basically afford a new upgrade per round constantly, do that for like 50-60 rounds, and you'll likely have a tower with 40 some ascended upgrades in both power and speed, 1.1^40 is a pretty big power spike, by the time you reach round 200, at this point the tower has already long passed the bloon ramping pace

Does pierce increase the bouncing bullet effect? Cause that could be very strong, not great for BAD's but everything else. Also I feel like you are underestimating force, it can be used to gain global range, imagine having global range on the inferno ring, or on the sub.
It used to be that pierce increased the bounce cap of the sniper, but it's been years since that was the case. Just got context, it was before cone of shrapnel behind their shots
