I love the Graduation Performance, because they always choose some ballet that is not that famous like other bigger ones. All of the dancers here were perfect and beautiful, let alone the details in the costumes!

I totally agree, he worked so hard to get there and he did. Did you see a film, documentary of his teacher Tsiskaridze working with him and 3 other boys?

of this ballet; and would now like to see a new version of the whole thing. Don't know what the major
male character was (Neptune?), but he was really good. Such good dancing, bravo kids!

«Конёк-Горбунок, или Царь-девица» - балет по одноимённой сказке Петра Ершова в 4 актах и 9 картинах. Композитор - Цезарь Пуни, автор либретто и балетмейстер - Артур Сен-Леон. Это был первый балет на русскую национальную тему, где использовались популярные русские мелодии.

『せむしの仔馬』という物語の中の一場面です。日本ではメジャーな作品ではありませんがロシアではよく上演されている演目です。ちなみにこの時深海の王の役を踊っているアロンくんは卒業後マリインスキー劇場でせむしの仔馬役に抜擢されています。
