This is a good video. But the thing is this is what I do use, but I have a problem with aligning content with it. SOmetimes I would want th spacing in between each column to be equal after filling them with varied content and I find it hard to sometimes manipulate the spacing in between. I also don't always use one alignment like it shows here. Like for numbers, they are aligned to the right, and letters to the left. Then status or columns with about the same length through the columns like numbers and buttons are center aligned. Now controlling the spacing in between is my issue, if you could make a video explaining that, or give an answer here, I would be very grateful. But, I am going to study what was used in untitled UI, cause it seems it works somehow even with my row-based version.
Great video! I use both columns and row components to provide flexibility in my design system. I’ve thought a lot about what’s best. It’s important to have independent cell components so you can configure it however you want.
Interesting video. I agree with the row approach. As you said each row would be a component in code. You could have a prop for each column so you could select all rows and toggle visibility for example. Nice one
That would be not to have a background in the individual cells, rather have a hover variant for the row component we created which changes the background for the whole row.
I did this two years ago and shift to Columns cause it is more flexible, i know my Clients (20 Years of working as UI/UX Designer) how individuall thinks should be.
dude this is one of the most gold videos in the entire internet thank you so much you have no idea how much you made my work easier
Thank you!

Really great solution....love u mentor
Hey glad to see i have the same approach for table. Also, I was wondering if you succeed to manage hovering/selected effect on a whole row?

@@AMDesignAndDev Hann i see. Gosh the answer were simple in fact xD
Thanks for the enlightenment! (and you quick answer!)
how we can show the hover effect on a prototype with this method. Although I also use this method in my project as well.

Couldn't agree more! And 20 years of experience, bro I should be learning from you!
can you share the design system file?
