I just started playing with these just the other day and it makes dotting so much easier and fun. I have purchased three different types of sets before and enjoyed using them but these are incredible. You spend a lot less time trying to adjust for size of dots like you would have to do with only 4 or 5 tools. They are great and well worth the money.

I just saw this video. I have the Happy Dotting Company tools and I absolutely love them! When I see a tutorial with the DIY Mandala Stones tools, I just use the HDC tool that's half the number of the DIY Mandala Stones. For example, it the DIY Mandala Stones tool is 28, I use the 14.0 mm size HDC tool. A 27 DIY Mandala Stone tool would be a 13.5 mm HDC tool; a 15 DIY Mandala Stones tool would be a 7.5 mm HDC tool, etc. The HDC tools are my favorites.

Oh, I like those! I like the size of the tool printed on the tool. I have every kind of set of tools you can imagine. Now I want this one. I think I have a bit of an obsession with this craft. LOL! Thanks for the video.

These are awesome, I'm currently using them. I've cleaned all other tools and put them aside, these are my preferred. I like that the mm size is the number on the barell. They are comfortable to hold and make a nice crisp clean dot. One of my other tools, the one I used the most, had cracked a bit on the end and was creating problems......Thank you Happy Dotting Co.....love these..😍

My very first set was from the Happy Dotting company acrylic ones and I have bought several different ones since then. I recently ordered these news ones and excited to give them a try. In the past my DIY mandala stones tools were my go to, but I have a feeling that these new ones are going to be my favorite!

I have a huge variety of tools; crochet, Mark's, DIY, Lydia's, Krupa's, and a few more...these are now my preferred tools for a few reasons: 1) the number matches the actual size, 2) the size is just right, they sit well in your hand, 3) the numbers are large and easy to see, 4) I even like the Eclipse tool!, I haven't used the Stylus tool yet because I'm still using my current stylus set. 5) they seem to clean easier than others?

Hi Susan.... I'm wondering if you still like these dotting tools from HDC. I am a first time dotter (have actually never dotted).... and I'm thinking about purchasing this set. Would you recommend this for a beginner? Or is their other dotting set with the extra micro tool adequate? Or... would I actually need both sets? Thank you for your advice!!💕 This is going to become my new hobby in 2023!! I can hardly wait!

I do recommend this set as it has all the sizes you will eventually want. I would also ad a set of metal tipped stylus. Does not have to be anything fancy , just four sizes is all you really need.
XS , sm, med Large and xL or 0.5-3. Mm ranges.
You will want an eight point template and if you order the tools from HDC you will see an nice pink square shaped set. I use them in my videos.
I have many tools I have tried since 2017 and the new HDC are my new go to ones. Also good as they have big numbers which are fantastic, and you can follow tutorials easier too. Sizes are shown in mm so easy to convert other tools people might use .

I have seen someone put Colors on theirs …but from my experience just keep dotting and you will be very comfortable with your tools :) I don’t even look at numbers anymore .
      Keep at it :)

I just started, haven't done a rock yet... but I'm going to use a pencil eraser and a Q-tip for now! Would this be the tool set that you would advise to get as a beginner so that I don't end up trying a bunch of different ones?

    • @SusanNelsonCreations
      @SusanNelsonCreations  Год назад

This would be the best set for you. Huge variety of sizes and very clear marking on the side for mm size. Easy cleaning.

I have all kinds of sets as part of my work is to trial them out. So this is defiantly an honest opinion as I am no an affiliate .
I do like my DIY but these just take it one step further.
I’d also suggest to get a metal ball stylus set. Nothing fancy , just that it has a variety of sizes. The 0.5 mm is one is use the most for small dots.

Oh my goodness for the last two hours I’ve been watching your lessons on RUclips and I’m really slow and things and I’m just come to realize how to leave a comment on RUclips. You are awesome where do you live? I wish I lived near you. Your lessons were so lovely and easy and I love these dotting tools that I bought but I’ve only done two so far But I like to know in some of your lessons it looks like it’s a blue handle and you say medium large small when you do one of your lessons on it and on the other end, it looks like it’s a white pointing phone. What are these? Where did you get these cause I like to have the same thing you Have.

Thank you for the nice comment.
I am in Victoria bc CA.
I have many sets of tools.
The DIY ones ams Happy Dotting Company are my favourites . HDC is better for when I do tutorials so you can see the mm size of the tool. If you have a different set it would be an easy conversion.
