The door close button worked because I saw it light up and the doors closed when you pressed it and the doors couldn't have closed automatically as surely that wasn't long enough after the doors had opened for them to do that.
I like the oval footprint. V. nicely filmed - especially the reflection in the curved doors at 0:12. Nice job! (I think the street-level feel both upstairs and down follows from 1940 German remodelling. You would be just outside London Wall (1800 years old here?) and post-war planners had to allow access to its remaining parts when they redrew the street map. You’re also in the district the Victorians called “Little Britain” ‘cos the Dukes of Brittany had kept a residence close by!)
What's the use of having floor selection buttons on a two levels only elevator ??? This is stupid. Where else would you want to go but up when entering it on the ground floor, and where else would you want to go but down when entering it on the top floor ? Nice rounded doors, though.
Steve ldnuk Your didn't understand my question. I know that a two story elevator is useful and necessary for disabled people. I'm asking why there are level selection buttons inside the cage for a two levels only elevator.
AlainHubert It is more economical just to have the standard mechanisms of an elevator than to change it just for this purpose. It really is no big deal.
Steve ldnuk Possibly. I agree that these buttons are no big deal, but I find them quite illogical, as Mr. Spock would say. But maybe it's a psychological reason rather, to give the impression of control over technology to humans by letting them manually ask the elevator to move, even if it's not really necessary ?
Yeah but this one's different. I feel like the way you spam on videos is just trying to get other people to dislike Mitsubishi. And you didn't even say in my opinion. You just said it's terrible and no character at all full stop.
@@glat15 Also check LE2020's video about why are Mitsubishi lifts so rare in the UK and seeing his comment just made me sad it the way he just goes well maybe because they're cheap and imported from Japan like he's trying to make him hate them.
I'm so proud of my dad.
He's the one maintaining most of the Mitsubishi lift and escalators in London for almost 15 years
This one is so awesome!
I’ve seen this before. I love it, thumbs up.
I love it too but I never seen this lift before.
That's kind of nifty! I like the curved doors.
This is a nice elevator!

the elevator has a mitsubishi chime and the buttons are blue 👍
The best elevator I’ve ever seen is Mitsubishi. Sheraton Bogota.
Best. Smooth, no sensation of movement. And cool.
I agree. Mitsubishi is one of my most favourite lift brands of all time.

Around a million views of a two levels elevator!? What is so interesting about it?
Hydraulics instead of cables.
Probably the curved doors and the fact that it is circular.
Look like an oval biscuit of elevator guess this??? Anyway, nice elevator to find but sounds bell really great!

Its Mitsubishi due to the Chime
