These character designs are absolutely amazing! That's a goblin shark if I'm not mistaken?

Thanks, and that’s correct! Purposefully referenced the older images of goblin sharks out of the water for Sally. Meanwhile the lil guy, Marx, is a red and blue Betta fish.

Wow so good!! I wish I could do that! 😮 How is it getting so few views 😢

Thank you! Unfortunately the views are subject to the algorithm, which is ever changing at this point. I hope it’ll reach more people who also enjoy this! And you can do it! Clip Studio Paint Ex (when on sale) and Procreate Dreams are a great start for learning without having to pay a subscription. Regular Procreate is also great and significantly cheaper than the first two. You just can’t add audio for that program.

@@neutrixartsanim1038 I use Procreate I just don't know how to do lip sync lol, do you have to draw out every frame where mouth shape changes by hand? Don't think there's anything automatic in Procreate.

How did you get the gradient so good??

In both Procreate and Procreate Dreams, there’s an airbrush called “soft blend” that I really like to use for gradients! ^_^ I also saved a copy of one of the frames and put it on a separate animation layer to use as a reference to help with consistency.

@ OHH do you use lower opacity? I always make the gradients too hard

No, actually. The Soft Blend brush is at full opacity. I’m not entirely sure how it works, but, from personal experience, it automatically blends what you put down kinda similar to the smudge tool. But it’s a lot smoother and you can control how hard or soft the blending is with how much pressure you use.

@ maybe I should edit my pressure sensitivity

@ at least check if it’s working. There are a number of possible things that could be keeping the soft blend brush from doing its things.
