@@SimplyShrimps I was just in my workshop looking at the vast colony of yellow sakura shrimp I have, would you like some to start off a new colony.I don't want anything for them just a good home which i know you will give them . I can see by your videos that you have a real passion for aquatics like myself and would like to help out like others have done for me. If you want you can get in touch with me on my facebook group Mark's Aquatics and private message me and we can sort things out. All the best Mark. 👍😀
Thank you!!! I was trying to figure out how to divide my 55 gallon so I could have 2 verticle gecko inclosures. All other videos on dividers are not permanent ones.
This is one of the most informative clips I've seen in RUclips so far....Thanks. I'm trying to decide whether to use temporary plastic dividers in my tank, or have permanent sealed dividers?.
Betting sponge filters in each and the reason the dividers let water through is only to help water changes. If "simply shrimp" are going in them she screens must be small enough so they cant go through them.
Each section will have it's own sponge filter, so 4 filters per big tank. The dividers to allow water through means the water volume altogether is bigger and there for more stable :)
@@SimplyShrimps Thank you for the answer ! can't wait to see the final result once it's all set up. The water going through was an other question 😊 It's good for stability Inde éd but I always worry about a disease that could spread across my tanks.
I found you from Instagram. And I’m glad I did. But at the same time not. Because now I want an aquarium but I don’t have any space for it in my apartment! Nooo.. I guess I have to just watch these videos and dream on 🦐🐟 nice channel!
What silicone did you use? The reason I am asking is that I have read that some are not designed or recommended to be used in a permanently submerged state. Not sure how true that is but at the same time I am not sure I would be brave enough to take a risk.
How close should the divider measurement be? Say a have a 12 inch wide aquarium, should I get the glass dividers cut to 12 inches if not how much less should I get it cut?
Hi simply 🍤 Can you make a video on how to remove main glass's and use it to make dividers out of of the main glass. Also so replacing the main glasss with new one.
Thank you for the video, I am adding a divider in a fish tank for the purpose of mining bitcoin. This is the only video I could find to make sure I did it properly!
I struggle with that word too.... but i have a speech impediment, whats your excuse lol. I also have trouble saying "speech impediment" which is cruel to give the condition a hard word in its title.
You're like the only video on RUclips who shows how to do permanent dividers lol. Thank you.
Using the spoon is genius! Thank you sir 👍 Trying to divide water from land in my vivarium and this will be very helpful.

Thanks. Removable ones are good if you change your mind but I prefer the fixed ones if you know you definitely want a divided tank.
Did you make the dividers or buy them?
I made them in previous videos ;) Well I bought the glass squares
I wonder, how do you plan to put à filter on it ? Will it be a single for all dispite the divider or you will put a filter for every section ?

Get the one with out the mold inhibitors
You beat me to it. Yes, and they state sometimes on them that they are suitable for aquariums.

Was looking at making a sump.. does you're fx6 fit ok under you're stand ?? And where did you get the tanks ?
Yeah it fits perfectly :) I got them custom made in the UK through Maidenhead aquatics.
did...did you just silicone over old silicone? Doesn't that NOT work?
What size is the aquarium that you used?
100cm x 30cm x 30cm 😁
can i use hot glue instead of sealant?
I’m not sure if that’s fish/shrimp safe
Do you have to reseal the tank to add a divider?
What are the dimensions of tank?

Sounds like a good video idea. I’m quite busy at the moment but will look into making something like this in the future. Thanks 😁
Easier to throw away a tank I think might fail I’ve resealed tanks and flooded a room not worth the ear ache lol 😬😬
Oops. Hopefully there wasn’t too much damage.
