What is The Educator?
The Educator is a cutting-edge golf training aid designed to improve your golf swing by providing immediate tactile feedback on your clubface control. This simple, L-shaped device attaches easily to the top of your club, allowing for adjustments to suit your unique swing style. It's an essential tool for those seeking golf training aids at home or on the range, offering a hands-on approach to mastering the perfect swing plane and wrist angles.
How Does The Educator Work?
In this detailed review, we explore the mechanics of the Educator, demonstrating its ease of installation and adjustability to fit all grip sizes. The device's primary function is to align with your club's grooves, ensuring the Educator is perfectly positioned to guide your swing. By maintaining contact with your forearm, it provides a physical reminder of your clubface's orientation, enabling you to make precise adjustments mid-swing for optimal face control and shot direction.
Benefits for Golfers at Every Level
Whether you're a beginner struggling with consistency or an advanced player fine-tuning your technique, the Educator serves as an invaluable golf training aid. We discuss its versatility in addressing common swing faults, such as over-rotation or improper wrist angles, and its effectiveness in teaching golfers how to achieve a flatter, more powerful lead wrist position. Through practical demonstrations, you'll see firsthand how the Educator can help eliminate weak shots, enhance face control, and encourage a more dynamic swing.
Beyond Swing Plane Correction
The Educator's benefits extend beyond just improving your swing plane. We showcase its adaptability for different aspects of the game, including chipping and putting. Learn how adjusting the Educator can aid in developing a more connected and efficient chipping technique, or how it can be used to maintain proper wrist angles for more consistent putting. These practical applications highlight the Educator's role as one of the best golf training aids for beginners and pros alike, offering comprehensive solutions to common golfing challenges.
Why Choose The Educator?
Our review concludes with a reflection on the Educator's impact on golf training. With its ability to provide immediate, tactile feedback, the Educator stands out among golf training aids that work, offering a direct route to improved clubface control and swing dynamics. Incredibly simple but also incredibly effective. Love the video and ordered one
Great review Mark! Now I can stop bothering my roommate using dinner plates to work on this at home… and I’m sure Mrs. Parfield appreciates it too after that video from years ago! The added plus is the extra diversity of use!😜 Thanks bruh!!!
Great job
Hi Mark
Another great video. Also just watched your Mevo plus review video and found it very informative. I'm in the process of building a home sim and currently choosing gear. I was already heading towards the Mevo and your review confirmed the decision. Launch monitors are well covered in youtube videos but the process of choosing the connecting device and the projector are perhaps less well documented. I'd really appreciate a pointer here.
Love the catchphrase.
You're welcome,
Steve
Thanks for the infomercial Mark.
Martin owes you Mark great review! BTW how far did you have to chase coach for those funky trousers!!😂🙏🙏🙏
I bought " The Hanger ", sorted me out, this looks to do the job just as good.
You should get a sponsorship deal with them, I just ordered one.
Just ordered one! Better be good! :0)
I rotate my arms a little bit, so would love to try that aid. But I do not struggle with a weak right push. Probably because im experienced who put the time in to get good. Off (5) BTW. Probably over compensate by coming more on the inside and using my hands through my swing.
great video
Mark, have you considered becoming a UK stockist for these aids you recommend? Especially the divot board? Customs fees are as much as the aid!
Thanks for the education. I shall purchase one of these now but I may look funny on the range standing on my pressure plate, hitting balls off my divot board with this on the end of my Lag shot but who cares. Whatever it takes, practice makes perfect! 😀
I've seen a KLPGA pro using something similar. This is the first time I've heard it explained. Looks good.
Mark another brilliant video
This looks like Lou Stagner would like it. Even better than „the secret“ oder the towel with the fishing rod 😅
Isn’t this just the hanger reinvented. Same type of tool.
Basically
I would get the ProSendr - it doesn’t hold you in the position and forces you to focus and train yourself. It’s tactile feedback but you have to do the work - also no setup
Is there anywhere you can buy this in the UK
Save your money and check out GRF golf on RUclips
Any course vlogs coming soon? Don't make me watch Rick Shiels struggle to break 85 😂
Thoes videos might as well be me trying to break 85. He’s torture to watch
Would i be able to use this to stop my scooping wrist action at the bottom of my swing?
Definitely. Make sure you keep the device pressed into the forearm at impact
I own a Hangar. Isn't that very similar? Would I gain any differences with The Educator?
Looks much less janky than the hangar.
Horn tooting here: way more versatile
@@tourstriker Good to know. I emailed you for (and received) the discount. Will be ordering.
Would you recommend this for a beginner more than the hackmotion? Or do you prefer the hackmotion?
Very different price to hack. Both are great. This is more analog obvs.
@@MarkCrossfield price aside, which one would you recommend more?
@@artbrana price aside I would say get both. Hack measures. Real data is valuable. The educator delivers a more tack tile feel. Easy to just set up and use anywhere.
If I had to choose one for me as a tech nerd it would be hack.
@@MarkCrossfield thx for the reply, i’m new to golf and could use all the help i can get so i will consider them both!
Work with educator and hack motion together with a video
Followed for years but this was way way way too sales pitchy or me, sadly a creeping trend 😟
Neat idea. Think I'll just bend a wired coat hanger instead
Does it work for left handed
Yes. 👍
Just for clarification… is it called an educator….. don’t think you mentioned it many times, I lost count after 83 😂😂 good video as usual though ✊
It’s so adjustable, unless you know what you’re doing you may set it up incorrectly and groove the wrong swing traits. Probably needs to be used in conjunction with a coach
Got mine and it kept slipping off🙁
Swing gyde can do the same. If you miss the swing gyde holder you do the swing wrongly :)
I think i detected a slight snigger when you said Educator for the 10th time Mr Crossfield 😂
Same as the hanger then?
Yeah thought the same the educator AKA the clothes hanger 😂
$70 coat hanger
So it’s basically the hanger 2.0 by a different company
$67 for a piece of plastic! That’s crazy 🤪
Hmmmmm 🤔
I would just use an actual plastic hanger
Buy a yellow antibend aid that cost a fiver and use it same way
Lou Lou has 3 of them😂
This is not a new training aid invention, Martin Chuck brought out The Educator about 10 years ago.
I was a poor golfer, so I bought one, watched the accompanying videos, and practiced with it a lot.
I remained a poor golfer.
These comments sound like they're from bots.
They do seem weird! Mark wouldnt buy them, probably from the company who own the device.
😂💀
100%
You mean people are rushing out to buy over priced bits of cheap plastic 😂 shame the channel has gone from useful, repeatable advice to selling nonsense 😑
Taxes + shipping to UK = £82. Far too expensive to import from the USA. Needs to be available in the UK for less than £50!
This is such a common issue. Such a shame.
@@MarkCrossfieldI’d purchase one after your excellent review if it was available here in the UK. Sadly like a lot of great teaching aids it will be copied in China and reproduced from inferior materials and sold at a much cheaper price thereby costing the original maker/seller many potential future sales.
First!
£82 with postage 😂
Nothing new. This is a copy of the swing gyde made in the 90's.
It's completely different 😕
same thing just attached in a different spot on the shaft. @@sheedy9
Just another gimmicky device mark. Don’t lower yourself.
Stick to lessons and content with lockey. Far better.
Gave a thumbs down...not for the video... for this overpriced go in the cupboard with all the other useless golf doodah's most of us have.
Firstly it's a bit of plastic probably made in China for 7 pence so the price is extortionate.
Then i can well imagine 80% of people making a set up error with it.
So i know you tube measures a thumbs fown with equal acceptability as a thumbs up and this is something i think most people will go the range use on club number 1 then lash it in a corner when it's taken you 47 minutes to hit 6 balls. (Nothing at all wrong with taking 47 minutes to hit 6 balls if that's your intention).
Did i mention the price? Hopefully your mate sells loads of them but none of them will be to me 👍 (that's my thumbs up for the video not the product)
Superb as ever. Love the channel ❤️
