The first murder on July 27, 2023. Later in the morning on July 28, Tianna Gallegos came to the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office to report a shooting she said occurred the day before. Gallegos said she and Sanders were gathering firewood at Wall’s house to sell, and that they had parted ways briefly after Sanders had been writing in her journal. Soon, Sanders walked outside with her backpack on and a gun in her hand. Gallegos said Sanders told her to help her find Wall’s truck keys and instructed her “not to panic” when they went inside. When they entered the house, Gallegos said she saw Wall sitting in a semi-upright position against his couch and that he was “grunting.” After finding Walls’ keys and taking his truck, Sanders held the gun in her lap while Gallegos drove. Gallegos said she felt like she couldn’t get away. Sanders was later charged with kidnapping and car theft along with her other charges. Sanders had reportedly said that Wall’s “hands were in places they should not have been.” Her brother was murdered on July 28, 2023. Sanders was also charged with murdering Wall.

I’m sorry but the standard of spoken English in many Americans is awful……the dispatcher is very poor in that respect. Asking where’s he shot at is not clarifying information…. What is the address? Do you know where on his body he’s was shot?
I agree. The erosion of our language is a sure sign of some deeper issue, but any discussion of that is immediately met with denial and indignation from the average citizen.
Amazing how many people must have an 80 IQ tops in this comment section. The dispatcher's job is to get information, you know how many times someone calls and says blank shot blank, and then they say with a nerf gun and now they are crying, or with a BB gun in the shin. Those are all three different level of events that need different responses, then an actual firearm. The dispatcher's job is to parse the information and make sure by "shot" we are talking about an actual firearm.
2:48 😑 What did the dispatcher think being shot meant? At 2:46, the grandma clearly asks for an ambulance and states her grandson was shot, then the operator asks 'What do you mean she shot him?', how is that hard to grasp? Does 'being shot' have multiple meanings? 🤯
Right!... I mean, she's calling 911 saying her grandson got shot what else could that mean, it's not like she called dominoes pizza! This is 911 right? The place where people call when there are emergencies.
It can. BB Guns are a thing. She needs to know what injury caused by what to inform the ambulance crew about, so they can be prepared. Also, it was a layered question, including where the injury is.

Sanders had reportedly said that Wall’s “hands were in places they should not have been.”
Her brother was murdered on July 28, 2023.
Sanders was also charged with murdering Wall.

Wow
This was said at the end of this video, too.
That emergency operator is terrible at listening and should not be a dispatcher.
I just basically said the same! Glad it's not just me that thinks that
She's terrible at questioning and active listening.
Man, I'm usually on their side, but she is putting grandma in extreme danger....
We don't know the full story, what if she was new? Imagine having this as one of your first calls?
Not very bright, zero comprehension skills and zero situational skills, she really needs to find other line of work, she's going to get someone killed.

What a charming 911 woman. Full of feeling for the woman calling . . . said nobody ever.
Is anyone else wondering why a 911 operator who's supposed to be assisting in saving lives would ask a woman in grave danger unimportant questions repeatedly? I hope she's been retrained.
Keeping them engaged, offsets panic. Even if its menial details.
That seems beyond neglectful like they were putting in the person in harm

It is heartbreaking … poor grandma…
I’m sorry but the standard of spoken English in many Americans is awful……the dispatcher is very poor in that respect. Asking where’s he shot at is not clarifying information….
What is the address?
Do you know where on his body he’s was shot?
They ask them questions to keep them on the phone
Yeah, that’s us. Poor, ignorant, obese Americans. It’s amazing how the U.S. manages to run the world in spite of those flaws.
I agree. The erosion of our language is a sure sign of some deeper issue, but any discussion of that is immediately met with denial and indignation from the average citizen.
@@psychokitty7268 Ok? Does them staying on the phone tend to help? It barely helped this situation

What a horrible thing to witness for the grandmother!
"What do you mean she shot him?"
Are you for real?!?! 🤬

I hate hearing 911 operators. I don't feel like they have any type of emotions.
Yup i think they are weird people
Compassion fatigue is a real phenomenon.
They are trained to be emotionless. Its not the people, it's just their job. If they were super emotional and frantic the caller would feed off of that and potentially escalte the situation.
They have a job to do and have to get information out of hysterical people. What do you expect them to do? Cry for some people they don't even know?
Agreed! Ever since Rich Homie Quan
How do they train these dispatchers?
That damn dispatcher ... not very comforting or helpful imo
Cold-blooded murderer telling the cops they were shady.

Operator: “what do you mean she just shot him?”
Grandmother: “SHE JUST SHOT HIM!!!”
Operator: “I don’t understand”

They're trained to say certain things.
