- The day is finally here! 2017 Optic is out and it looks fantastic! This box was $85 at my LCS so you should be able to get boxes for right around there. Prepare yourselves for more Optic!

@@kdtrey5isabeast it wasn’t the mega box, but the smaller one was going on Amazon for 300 like 2 months ago, now it shot up to 450
@@caletrace8669 no it was a hobby box. From 2017 they’re ridiculously expensive now. This years hobby box is around 800
@@kdtrey5isabeast idk, I got whatever one that he shows here in the vid for $95, I looked on Amazon and there’s one for $800 and one for $450 the one that is $450 used to be $300 a couple months ago, I’m not that big into sports cards, so I don’t know the difference between, hobby box, mega box, and whatever box there might be

Wow! Sweet box brutha and the box you opened off camera was or looked really awesome! Sweet Mixon and then a gold /10 of Coop and then the nice Kamara! This box lots of color and not bad hitting a GB PC Jones....pretty sick! Very awesome looking product in my eyes! I think they did the filler card since there is an RPA case Hot so maybe they wanted to throw off people searching for that?...lol anyways, nice crackin my friend and very awesome looking cards....will hope to pick up a box or 2 of these down the line. There is thick cards this year hence the fillers they added a few things this year I seen from checklist. Nice break thanks for vid as always

any regrets opening up this box in 2020 for what a hobby box sells for now? Not trying to make you feel bad i love opening up packs of cards but the real value imo is going to be keeping them sealed and putting them up for 3 to 10 years. Especially now that cards are making a come back.
from what I've seen so far, the packs with filler cards are usually all base cards.

It's a sweet looking product...but for whatever reason I thought a hobby box included an on card RR auto. Kinda pissy that the only auto is a sticker on a basic rookie.
Opened a box got 10 dupes no color rated rookies only 6 colors overall... I did get a Joe Williams RPA but it’s a sticker auto... was pretty disappointed I guess it’s only $80 a box but was looking foreword to an on card auto.

Watching this years later...$85 a box. A lot of us would kill for that right now. You cant even get blasters for $85 haha. Maybe someday these prices will come back down. Even if they were a couple hundred dollars. $200-300
I think Panini's reasoning behind putting fillers is so pack searchers can't easily pull out the case hits (RPA) from loose packs and then just resell the rest. Love the optic though, the rated rookies and inserts are such sweet looking cards.
