as for your crashing problems, I found this helped me: start your mount & blade warband launcher, go to configurations set load textures on demand off. go to advanced, then turn on force single threading. put shadows to low, AA x2, textures quality to 70% (same for character quality.) shader to low. As did forcing single threading. the game ironically loads real bad when loaded fast. I've even found lowering its priority in task manager to below normal helps eradicate crashes. some have had luck doing the opposite and increasing its priority to above normal.
This series is great and I love this mod but it embodies some of my greatest peeves with M&B. Your allies are nearly useless. You're single handedly conquering everything. The enemy never lets up even when you crush their entire nations army by yourself. Said feat seemingly means nothing to anyone. It's like playing Total War but never auto resolving or being able to scam other nations via diplomacy.
