- I've had this table for about a month and have some hours on it now, so here is a simple overview/review on the table. Thanks for watching everyone!!

Hey man, just a tip for you to make your life easier. When you're in F360 and on the setup tab, set your origin point to the top left corner of your part. Now, when you load that part file into Mach and your metal is on the table, jog your torch to the point where you want the top left corner to be and zero X and zero Y in Mach. Boom, done. Cut it.

if you weld in some adjustable dogs, you would have a fix position you can automatically 'home' to in mach3. 2 pieces of box tubing welded on an outside corner of the cut path like 6" in on the x and y axis just below the waste plates would be good. some smaller pieces of box tubing to slide up when you have square corner on you sheet metal, when you have a funky shaped piece of metal just lower them out of the way. now that you have those fix position dogs you can turn it up to 11--cap the top of those smaller box tubing and weld in some small piece of round stock on top the cap, this will give the ability to cut an infinite length of sheet metal. you would be able to program holes for the dowels in fusion to keep a long sheet square. nice video

If you hit the tab key in mach3 it will open up a jog window. You can it the arrow buttons with your mouse. When done hit the tab key again to close it.
How repeatable is it. What i mean is, are the dimensions the same if you cut duplicate parts. I know some commercial machines are +/- 1/8" and that is considered normal.
Do you know if a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) can be used with this?
This process is very similar to what we use for CNC milling.
Now I need a table oh yeah and a plasma cutter keep looking at the hypertherm 45xp just havnt got off my wallet to get one yet
this is the cnc table i want and im thinking about getting the plasma cutter they have with the table and use my hypertherm for hand cut stuff i have a powermax 30 as well. i love it i need a bigger compressor what compressor do you run bud? im trying to start my own welding business a little at a time

Jm whats your opinion on langmuir so far? Good customer service? Are you using fusion 360?
If you were going to buy another table would you still get a 2x2 or a 3x4, or 4x4? Ive been looking at the crossfire pro. I was curious wondering your opinion since you have had it a while.

I like it haven’t really need anything for it (customer service wise) so can’t attest to that but I’d definitely go with a bigger table if you’ve got the coin and the space, I don’t regret getting a 2x2 table I just wish I had a bigger one as well. Using fusion 360 as well, love hate relationship there, probably my computer to fault the most haha

How much memory does the computer need?. How much ram? Do you need ethernet connection?
You prob want at least a 200gb hard drive, 4gb ram, and the best processor you can get because fusion 360 will take forever to do anything unless you got a speedy computer but to run the cuz software it basically take hardly anything and all it needs is a USB port
I assume you’re running a 220v connection on your plasma cutter. Ever make cuts on this table with your plasma cutter running in 120v?
Yes using 220v, on 110 my machine will only cut about 1/8” plate and it is very slow, can be done but not ideal
@@j_moffitt can I run the plasma on 220 and my compressor on 110... ? For a small plasma like the HF titanium 45, how big of a compressor would you need?
People should protect the cement underneath with something weather it be leather a pan full of water ect those little sparks from the burning metal will degrade the cement floor
Zero out the X and Y and hit regenerate toolpath where are you want your 02 be
That’s a lot of bullshit to go through to make it cut
I gotta be honest with you man, it was painful to see you struggling through this video. Get to know your machine better and try again. I'm not trying to be ugly by saying this, but rather giving constructive criticism.
