Wedding Bliss Amidst the Great Outdoors of Minnesota | KATELYNN + CODY WEDDING FILM

The Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club is where elegance meets the great outdoors. They specialize in turning dreams into reality, creating enchanting memories for couples on the most important day of their lives. Nestled within a sprawling 600-acre sanctuary of pristine meadows, lush woods, and serene waters, the venue offers an unparalleled setting for both indoor and outdoor weddings and receptions.
As it so happens, Katelynn and Cody picked one of the most beautiful days in the Autumn of 2024 for their wedding day. I was honored to be their documentarian and to create this 8 minute cinematic wedding film that will forever preserve the enchanting celebration of their marriage.
Being in the role of their wedding videographer is not something I take lightly, it’s truly the honor of my career. Lots of time’s you’ll hear, “why do you shoot weddings, don’t you wanna make big time commercials?” and to that I say, why would I want to make something that people actively spend their lives trying to avoid?
Being able to be present and preserve the memories, smiles, interactions with grandparents that may soon be gone, friends dancing and celebrating with you on the dance floor, the look of pure joy as you swell up with emotion seeing your soon to be spouse walking towards you down the aisle?
THIS is what wedding filmmaking is all about and it’s why I absolutely love it, and Katelynn and Cody’s wedding was no exception.
The stunning vast landscape of marsh and forrest that surrounds the Minnesota Horse and Hunt club provided the perfect escape from the business of city life. It’s an oasis that is perfectly situation to host this rustic grand outdoor affair.
Just 30 minutes outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul, makes it the ideal choice for couple’s that are looking for the clarity of the great outdoors, without having to make destination sacrifices.
Katelynn and Cody’s wedding day was the perfect way to close out my 2024 wedding season. The elation on their faces the entire day made my cheeks sore while editing, haha! And as a special bonus, I got to work with my great friends Fernanda and Peter of Banc Media, two wedding photographers that know how to get down and have some fun!
