Since you choose sponsors that fit your values, I think it'd be entertaining if you did a video where you go through your inbox and talk about companies that reach out to you trying to get you to promote their products (censor the company names so you don't get into trouble of course). I know RUclipsrs get a lot of random sponsorship offers from companies that don't even watch their channels - they just see the amount of views they get - and offer them products that don't align with their values at all.

Okay but idea for mugs: set up a local mug swap group when it's safe to gather again. Get together, bring a kettle and coffee pot, drink some caffeine, and swap out mugs you've had for a while and don't love as much as when you bought them. You get cute new mugs without spending money or filling up your space because for each one you bring in, one goes out

I love seeing this kind of videos, because I feel that here in Brazil no one buys most of these things either way.... glitter, for instance, is something that I don't know any adult who buys it.... it's something that only kids use at school for mother's day projects and things like that... zip lock plastic bags are also something that is kind of hard to find, because people just don't use them.... and things for just one photo, once again, is something that makes no sense, because things are expensive around here... a cute notebook, for instance, costs something around R$ 20, and that's about 4 hour of work for anyone who makes a minimum wage (and most people in Brazil make a minimum wage), and it doesn't matter if Instagram is your job (though admittedly I don't know any Brazilian influencers in person) most people wouldn't think of spending that much money for something you have no intention of using....
And just for the record, I'm not shaming anyone here, I just think it's fun thinking about the differences in our contexts

Thank you so much for always holding up a positive standard for the planet. As an artist, for years I didn’t have much money so I shopped in thrift stores and flea markets and bought almost everything secondhand. Which was my preference anyway because I find so many cool interesting things! Back in the early 90s me and my artist girlfriends used to host clothing swaps. It was so fun to get new things and not spend a cent. It was also a great way to clean out your closet. About 80% of the stuff ended up going to the thrift store anyway! We would tell funny stories about each item of clothing as we held it up for grabs. Now that I have more resources, the temptation to buy things is strong. ESpecially if I need them. But for sure I’m always tempted to buy clothes even if I don’t need them! Thanks for reminding me that there are often ways to reuse and repair what you have and to not get sucked into consumerism. We can’t hear this message enough. Because we are bombarded every day by so many messages to shop.

To be honest, I do forget what I order sometimes, but that's on chemo brain; not because I buy useless things/things I don't need. I mean I also sometimes forget to call people, pay my bills (thank god I live with my mum and I'm still young, they're nicer to a sick 22y/o who forgot to pay than to a 35y/o person), take a med, and remember how to function so yes, I do forget what I order too and then I'm like "Oh, it's my non-toxic detergent/house cleaning products, right I did order those". If you see it as "constant" surprises, it's pretty fun, if you ask me! Thanks for the cool videos, I take notes of thingsI might need soon and what I can replace them with, to be more eco-friendly. You may have rescued your kitten which is great! :) But to anybody reading, buying animals from breeders is very bad for the environment. Paying breeders means more animals brought into the world which results in more resources being used right down to more farm animals being killed for pet food, etc etc. I knew breeding wasn’t exactly ethical but I didn’t realise it had an impact on the environment like this too!

Wood pellets as kitten litter are a great option and, if you can, try buying food in large quantities. Right now I have a 10kg bag for my two lovies and it uses much fewer plastic than the same amount of food in smaller bags.

I love how some of these are not just good for the environment but also "liberating". You are freeing yourself from quite a few of the cultural standards that make our lives harder or painful. Such as heels, shaving, bras. I find this very inspiring.
I'm not there all the way myself yet. I could never go out in public without a bra, but I'm with you on not wearing heels and 90% of the time not shaving. Also, like you I'm not using any hair products other than shampoo. Have not done so in decades because it's completely unnecessary. I had hair down to my butt and I had it chin length. Never felt the need for conditioners - on the contrary, they make it harder to style my har. So much of what we feel is normal or even mandatory is very unnatural and just a ploy to sell us more stuff.

I can never find ones that fit right and I think it’s a waste because I only wear them under clothes to work and immediately rip it off as soon as I’m home. I never understand buying new bras all the time or all the “sexy” ones.

I rarely shave, especially since the pandemic. Although mine is plastic handle, I clean it with a toothbrush to get rid of hair and then I dry the blade after use, so it won't become rusty. Then store it in cool place. I don't even need to change the blade.
This is a good and cheap way to save money and help the planet. If this razor broke (or after I used up all the blades), I might consider buying a metal handle razor. But, I feel that wouldn't happen as long as I take good care of this one. 😁
