+kodemasterx UT99 GOTY still had the best gameplay out of the UT games IMO, I hope as the new one develops it can match that. Also, you won't find this game melting any cards, it barely stresses mine.
+Gunmetal Panda I dont think its gonna hurt to include vehicles,fan modes have to exist to keep le casuals playing otherwise this game will be dead like any other Arena shooter.

Rolf! Very smart by Epic to mix old and new in a trailer. Ive been waiting for a good UT since the original. If anything I have a problem with the maps: Too many narrow corridors, too few open areas. But that will be fixed over time.
Really hope the community can push through and get this going. UT classic is one of my all time favorites. Seeing it reborn in the new engine, would be heavenly. Would gladly pay for it, if it was!

I the Unreal tournament site is a dead end with generic info and the only info I can find about this is that somewhere there is a pre-alpha Unreal tournament but all the info on it is really old. I'd love to download this and get into it but I can't find anything anywhere that applies to 2024 or the state of the game or if it even exists.
Question, do we have to download this big software program in which has all the level design stuff in order to just get on and play?? I wouldn't be playin it all the time so I don't want like 8 extra processes running in the back ground making my computer slower while I'm doin other things... thx-

Wow, this is a really hype trailer for the Pre Alpha Season update for UT4. I have not played past UT games but there definitely is some nostalgia with footage from the older games and the narration being lifted directly from UT99.
