Saltwater water changes does sound like a hassle. My question is, can I do a 50 gallon saltwater change one week and the next week do the same, but use freshwater instead? And then rotate between salt and fresh a water changes every other week?
I wouldn’t recommend that. If you have multiple tanks and the forever home is 500 gallons or bigger…. Then sure, short term but long term you’ll need a tank 500g or bigger.
almost 100 subs, congratulations..keep loving your animals like you do.Your dedication and love for them is evident! you could make a one hour video with your fish swimming, and trust me I would view that almost everyday (including turtles). Good wishes to you and your family from Mexico.
Thank you bro. I can’t wait until I get these guys into a bigger saltwater aquarium! As for difficulty... it has its complexities. When it comes to water changes and overall chemistry if you want corals. But a fish only salt water aquarium is pretty easy. Just more costly since saltwater is needed for regular maintenance and RODI water is needed for daily evaporation. The initial setup is definitely gonna cost a lot more than a freshwater aquarium. With that being said, corals change the whole game and doubles if not tripled the cost and difficulty of it all. I would start off with a 20 gallon and gain my experience and understanding with that. Then consider upgrading if you have the desire to do so.
No sir, I have some ocean rock in here as well, it made it easier to build some of the caves. The setup has totally changed though. They’re in a 225 gallon now and the rock work is very different now.
Woah woah woah dude you’re torturing those fish man they are BEAUTIFUL but this tank WAYYYYYY too small for half these fish man and the lion fish in there is crazy
Calm down. The video is old, the fish were not in there long and they weren’t full grown. The tank was fine for the short time they were in there. Have you seen a recent video?
Once you try it, it’s just a different game. Everything you know about fish will make you feel like you don’t know enough. And don’t even get me started if you have a reef. Reef tank has a big learning curve. And it isn’t for everyone mainly because of how much more complex the chemistry, lighting, flow, filtration, inhabitants, and higher cost get
U da man!

No you can’t, you’ll reduce the salinity level in your aquarium alternating like that.
@@TheFishCorner okay. I won’t do it
I agree with everyone else! Cool tank you have there, very beautiful fish and also cool names
Thank you very much!
Very nice
Awesome tank beautiful fish. Someday I would like to try saltwater. Need to learn more. 🐟🌿👍😊
Thank you so much!! I definitely think you should! I’m so glad I did! Just start off small, with like a 20 or 30 gallon. 🙂
Me too! I'm also moving and don't want to have to individually pack live rocks and corals lol
@@TheFishCorner I hear the best way to start is with faux decor and slowly get into the real coral etc.
Now I need a saltwater tank! Thanks for the inspo man
Thank you bro. And you definitely should get one!
Your fish are stunning, Cleveland!
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
I have the same tank and I'm thinking of going FOWLR. Love the content bruh. Keep it up.
Yessir, that’s the way to go! And thank you for your support and feedback bro! 💯
Can I have a white Spotted bamboo shark in a 150 gallon tank
I wouldn’t recommend that. If you have multiple tanks and the forever home is 500 gallons or bigger…. Then sure, short term but long term you’ll need a tank 500g or bigger.
OK thanks. Would there be a salt water shark I could put in there.

Is salt water aquarium's difficult to maintain than fresh water?
Thank you bro. I can’t wait until I get these guys into a bigger saltwater aquarium!

Awesome tank man
Thanks bro! 🍻
Very cool tank!! 🐠
Thank you!
What do you feed your snowflake eel and lionfish? I am planning to keep them
Tilapia. If you can get them to eat silver sides while they’re small. You should implement that into their diet as well.
Subscribed! 🙌
Thank you!
yea skimmers workin real good haha
🤦♂️
perfectly lol.... wow.
💯💯💯💪💪💪
🦾
I would love to have salt water some day!
You definitely should do it!
Do you just use live rock in this?
No sir, I have some ocean rock in here as well, it made it easier to build some of the caves. The setup has totally changed though. They’re in a 225 gallon now and the rock work is very different now.
Hope you found out that your skimmer is useless if it is overflowing like that.
Of course I did

He doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. He shared a video of his pufferfish puffed up... it's because the poor thing was stressed out.
i hope you correct ur skimmer )))) its not working properly
Inhave never tried saltwater. I just always find freshwater more attractive for some reason.
Saltwater is a totally different ballgame. I enjoy it so much more. Although I don’t always enjoy the maintenance portion of it! Lol

🐠🐠🐠♥️♥️
Your aquarium is obviously too small
those fish are too large for that small aquarium, need at least a 250 gallon
Yes they are
Tank is tiny for all those fish
It really wasn’t. But they got upgraded anyway. And none of these tanks are the fish forever home. It’s just the right now home.
