From Uzbekistan to Tajikistan Central Asia land border crossing [Central Asia #5]

Cross the border from Samarkand, Uzbekistan to Penjikent, Tajikistan.
The Samarkand-Penjikent border closed in 2010, but reopened in 2018, making it easier to access from Samarkand.
Take a shared taxi from Samarkand's Casa Kona bus terminal to the border.
At the border, there was a picture of the presidents of the two countries shaking hands, and there was no tense atmosphere, and there was a peaceful atmosphere.
After crossing the border, I took a shared taxi again from the Tajikistan side and headed for Penjikent.
