Is there a way to set up one affiliate link that will pay out multiple users the same percentage of commission? I am selling a course with 6 teachers, we all need to get paid the same amount- so we don't need individual links
Did all this in VIM? Damn coding god over here
Just wondering. Can i use stripe as saas for my e-commerce. I mean, every payment performed using stripe will end up in stripe database anyway. Just wondering why don't i just store all the data in stripe and not on my server at all. Is that possible?
This was the case using stripe checkout API
Hey there, thanks for reaching out about this. Please email us at support@stripe.com and we'll follow up with you directly regarding this inquiry-talk soon!
How are you it is being a long period of time . Hi! How do i get my Payment LINK.
Hi there-you can create Payment Links from your Dashboard: stripe.com/docs/payments/payment-links.
Thanks for this tutorial! If you want to setup an affiliate program with payment links without messing with any code, we just posted a tutorial for that on our channel.
can I do this with no-code process?
Hey there-good question! Stripe offers no-code options for both Payment Links, as well as the Connect functionality which you can find more details on here: stripe.com/docs/connect/collect-then-transfer-guide?platform=no-code.
Hi is there a simple way to do this without messing with code? We just started yesterday and have 2k in profits on subs & want to reach out to our big brand friends to promo for us but need an affiliate setup
or can I get support to walk me through this over the weekend?
@@garrett54s I could do the coding for you..
hi, is that possible to attach with promotion codes?
Hey there-could you provide us with some specifics about the use case here so we can check on this for you?
@@StripeDev Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm manually transferring the commission to the recipient's Stripe account (thanks for providing the connect option), based on the promo_code12 (appended to the stripe_connect_account_id metadata) retrieved from the webhook response. If you provide the option to append the connect account id with the promocode, that would be very helpful.
Note: I add the stripe account number as metadata when creating the promocode.
Hi Prabakaran-thanks for the clarification. When sending the PaymentLink url, you can specify 'prefilled_promo_code' in the url parameters so that the promotion code will be pre-filled:
stripe.com/docs/payment-links/customer-info#customize-checkout-with-url-parameters
Metadata are just for storing information that you (may) need in their integration, there is no logic on their values for Stripe Side. Hope this helps!
@@StripeDev Thank you very much for the reply. I think I didn't express myself correctly. I want to link the discount code to the referral account. When the customer uses the referrer's discount code, the commission is quickly transferred to the referrer's account.
This can be achieved via Stripe Connect. After a Checkout Session is completed/paid successfully, you can check whether a discount was applied to that specific session. You would look at the total_details[breakdown][discounts] property. If it's set, based on which PromotionCode/Coupon was used you can match that one to a specific referrer and then create a Transfer to transfer funds to that person's connected account.
Stripe they are responsible for my children food because they hold my legal money and they don't payout for me because of flimsy reasons, where is my money
