Wow, Tommy’s truth at the end was very brave. You could see how uncomfortable it was for him which kinda shows how kind he probably is irl.
Well, like everything, there are levels. He loves the people he works with as well as his job. The last thing you want to do is not only hurt those people feelings, but have to work in an environment where everyone now feels uneasy about something you said. As you stated as well, he seems like a nice person that is uncomfortable being mean.
This one feels 10x better than the last one. Better questions, good sauces. The last one was good, this one is great.

@@xarachne8473 the point is that women are much more at danger of being harmed by men, especially at a vulnerable time like at night, than day time. women aren’t saying that men feel comfortable walking around at night, it’s just that women tend to have significantly higher risk, even in “safe” areas. where walking around at night may be possible, but scary, for some men, it may be completely impossible for women. women can never tell who is a “safe” man and who is an “unsafe” man, so most of us steer clear of situations that would have higher risk. hope that helps so you’re not fostering unwanted hate and derision to women/other femme presenting people just trying to live their lives ✌🏾

@@kylecho4632 i think they’re currently doing it on a “we’ll do one when we have a big enough reason to do a special one” basis but there hasn’t been a smoshcast since sarah left.
For real, I love Smoshcast for exactly that reason- I'm currently going back through and listening from episode 1. I love hearing you guys candidly talking and hearing what you all have to say. That is the content I really dig and wish there was more of. Having said that, I do love just about everything you release.

really makes me happy to see how open they are to feedback! a lot of people would have just ignored comments saying that they should have made the challenge more difficult, but they actually listened to their fans.
smosh is amongst the few youtube channels that actually listens to the fans and they have been from the start.

They skipped alot of the hotter sauces and traded them for weak sauce
I agree with Tommy, Ian's humor IS funny and always has been. There's more than one kind of humor, and Ian's is a particular humor that's funny if you get it.
I mean, a good part of why Smosh is as successful as it is now, is due to Ian's humour. No one would've been able to be there that day without it!
Another really good example of this is Olivia's humor. It's a completely different side that a lot of people don't get.

Ian and Olivia both have that particular type of humor where their jokes don’t always land but when they do they land EXCEPTIONALLY well, Ian is in my opinion never the funniest in the room but he’s more like a silent killer, he sneaks up on you with those jokes

I feel like the hot sauce should scale, so the more you “opt out of”, the more you get punished.

@@tjcmoto5484 that feels cruel to leave it to chance and way fewer people would be in that vid -- they have wayyyy different tolerances to hot sauce and making sure that they have some level of autonomy in picking how spicy their poop will be later is just a basic kindness

@@ayyydn I hear ya, truthfully. But idk, the chance is kinda what makes it interesting and have some sort of stakes associated with playing the game. Maybe don’t play if you can’t handle the heat of the sauce or the questions.

And here I was always thinking they actually have a great vibe when they are in something together. RIP. Seems like Spencer is a bit less easy to get along with based on some stories, but interesting honestly. He appears introverted, in his feels and nerdy one day, then extroverted and girliepop the next day. Multifacetted King. I feel Tommy looking for positive, almost cartoony people when you are moody yourself.
I dunno, Spencer seems like he'd be a good guy to date in my books. I don't drink either, I love cats and I'm a homebody, like to go out every once in a while but prefer to stay home, lol. He's also hilarious
i totally understand what tommy’s saying about complimenting each other though. as someone who’s wayy too outgoing, being with someone who’s a little more introverted is really nice because then i get to talk more and they get to listen more :> it’s best because i love talking and a lot of people don’t! so i get to make introverts comfortable by filling conversational gaps.

@@Prologue18 i totally get what you mean! i’m an introvert and most of the time i love being friends with other extroverts ‘cause they’re willing to bring the energy in a conversation. And sometimes their energy rubs off on me and I get energetic with them too lol. I guess you can say extroverts brings the extroverted version out of me. And sometimes being the listener, although it’s nice, sometimes I don’t get to put my word in. With my experience with extroverts, I often get to speak more than often (sometimes non stop lol)
exactly, spending the night at home just chilling with my SO sounds amazing tbh. I am very introverted tho lol
I loved Courtney's energy in this video- encouraging Tommy to consider not telling the story of when he got in trouble with the law/school, reassuring Noah that he isn't a bad employee, etc.
I love how Tommy was so mindful about how he worded things with his final question, genuinely trying to soften the blow as much as possible. Even saying that one of his own flaws exacerbated his issues with some of the others.

I don't know why people are talking shit about Spencer's hair. He pulls it off far better than I ever could. I also love how many real moments there seemed to be in this.

Tommy is underappreciated. That dude has some KILLER jokes and zings. The whole cast and crew are awesome, but Tommy always stands out with pushing the envelope.
I love how personal this is!! Like obviously y'all didn't put entire soul out there but I feel like between the beginning and the end, y'all got closer. And I think that's what people really love to see. Im glad you guys got to move into the new studio and I hope the best for y'all!!

I know it's not the first impression between those two... But if you look closely in video Snake and Ladder : Spider-man Edition in Smoshgames... There was a time when Spencer do this callback quote bit from Bully Maguire (the character that he played as in that video). He said to Courtney : "You're trash" Which is a quote from Spider-man 3. But Courtney who I think didn't get the joke, replied "Excuse me? " with an unhappy tone and face expression.
Just like another comment from Kapil above, I think that's the case. Maybe Spencer was too edgy and sounded rude to Courtney in her impression of him. But Idk either, it's just a lil observation and just a guessing

I really loved Tommy talking about flaws and seeing everyone open up and have a mindful discussion.

As someone who has been trying to fight the fear of driving after a wreck I had about 6 years ago. I have nothing but respect for Keith after his honesty on the subject.

Great content, just an idea: Instead of letting them pick which sauce they want to try, have them take the next spiciest one in the lineup. They cannot go back in the lineup. So since Tommy didn't answer the question he will take the first sauce. Ian would have to take the next sauce in the lineup if he doesn't answer the questions
Or like everyone starts at level 1 when they don’t answer the first question, and if they don’t answer two questions, they have to go to level 2 and so on.

Also ghost pepper and Carolina reaper sauces. They had pretty spicy sauces, but nothing that you'd typically see with these types of things.

Tommy is the absolute best. The whole cast is great but he just comes across as such a genuine, funny person. Can’t get enough of his videos!
They should make it that the less questions they answer the spicer the nugget gets
Suggestion - for the next round of this, put 'difficulty levels' on the cards, like how many dabs and which sauce. Easy questions get easily answered or deserve just a bit of some Tabasco, while the hardest questions basically require you to bite into a pepper of death.
Recommendation - get Blair's Ultra Death. It's basically a poison.

Much better than the last, but you could take it up a notch and eliminate a sauce each time its picked, so each time someone skips out and takes the dab, it gets spicier and spicier.

Much, much better this time around. I honestly didn't think you all would have cared enough to listen to the feedback and redo this challenge. You proved me wrong, and for that I am truly stunned and appreciative. You definitely redeemed yourselves with this, and major props to Tommy for really trying his best to make sure things were done right this time. @@georgedoty-williams2085 True. I really don't mean to be rude towards him, but that was entirely on-brand for Keith. Tommy was kind with his biggest flaw- I think his biggest flaw is that he can't take what he dishes out.
Tbh if there were more spicy questions that were more about the person themselves it would be more fun. It feels really weird getting questions that ask you to potentially hurt the feelings of another player, but that's just me haha. I'd always dab if I got a card that told me to roast or list flaws of a friend, but I'd definitely do Truth if it was about myself.

I'd say as a video idea, they should put the sauces in order from the least spicy to the most one, and each time someone eats they have to scale it up. I think it would make this even better because the game would get spicier and spicer! 🔥

The chol part of Huichol is pronounced "chull", and they are an indigenous people who mostly live in the mountains (Sierra Madre Occidental) of Nayarit, Jalisco, Durango, and Zacatecas. While others live in parts of the southwestern US. Though their homeland is San Luis Potosí. And something for the future, hide the sauces in same-sized boxes so they wouldn't know which sauce they're getting

I love how here in Mexico at least two of those sauces are things you put in snacks and food without it being too spicy (Huichol and Valentina (although black label Valentina is indeed spicier than yellow label))
