I've been both thinking this show NEEDS to end this way, and saying it probably would since the Endverse episode in Season 5 where Alternate!Lucifer said it was inevitable. And apparently the writers either A. thought so to, or B. heard fans talk about this possibility for years, so they gave us the most in your face obvious foreshadowing as some last minute fan service before the end, even if it doesn't end this way. What's really crazy is that I just noticed that the Endverse episode is Episode 4 of Season 5, just like last weeks was Episode 4 of Season 15. And in both episodes Jared snaps Jensens neck. An exactly one decade later parallel.

this video has made me realize so many things about how the show could end, no matter if it's good or bad. i do think that we all know that the brothers will both die in order for the show to end, whether it's happy or sad. but even if they are fictional characters, the fact that they have died and might die in order for the show to end is maybe one of the saddest things. but no matter what happens to the boys, they'll all live in our hearts.

Once again, an incredible video! I can't believe how good this season is. Every episode gives us returning characters and no episode so far has been just filler, it's amazing. Sadly, Lilith's return was spoiled for me before I watched the episode but it was shocking nonetheless and the actress playing her was much better than the previous one. The Samifer and Deanmon scenes were also just fantastic
woah, the way you used parallels within this episode with past ones really draw out how it's not going to be a happy ending. And the way Sam woke up from first vision and Dean talk to him in Impala and was the same way they did the scene in the beggining of "Wendigo". Seeing Chuck's sick obsession about brothers ending I'm really nervous about how brother's story will end.

Supernatural gave us so much pain and I want a happy end, I really do.
But we all know this is not gonna happen.
Since season 5.
It's tragic, yes - it's heartbreaking, but at least we had great 15 seasons and a big family.
Like John said once;
Near as I can tell, we have two choices.
All right, we can think about what's coming.
Or we can be grateful for this time that we have together.
Now, me... I choose grateful.
