My son chose the M6 Pro & we've pre-ordered the purple one for him (currently not released until 24th Jan here in the UK). Lack of 5G isn't an issue as 5G coverage is still minimal here, even though he's moving from a Mi 11 Lite 5G I doubt he'll notice the difference (he's about to start college) just hoping the Helio chipset will be good enough for him.
great comparison vid, first one of yours that I've watched and completely agree... having had (and lost!) an X6Pro and now having an M6Pro, the X6P was blisteringly fast and Hyper OS was very polished... in comparison to M6P which feels like it struggles a bit with multi-tasking... but I think this may be partly down to MIUI 14 and not just due lower powered chip set. Both great phones, but for roughly 50% more cost the X6P is the one to go for if you can afford it, but the M6P will definitely make you happy as long as you don't mind waiting for the OTA Hyper OS upgrade whenever it comes 👍
got a regular X6 a couple weeks ago and if you don't care about camera quality like myself, it's a STEAL, honestly, I didn't even realize how good cheap phones got in recent years until now also, great video! keep up the good work!

@@giusoriano I dropped my F1 a few times since I was last here,so had to buy a new blower,I bought the OnePlus ace 3 from Ali express,it has the oxygen Os flashed over color Os and works perfectly,now the OnePlus 12r is the same phone rebranded for Europe and the states, so the 12r cost 700 euro for 16gb ram 256 storage I got the ace 3 for 386 euro with 12 GB ram and 256 storage plus ufs is faster 4.0 just a little less ram,but you can use ram extension if needed, hope this helps for anyone needing an upgrade
I think the M6 pro is the best for regular users, X6 pro is focusing on more power mostly for gamers imo. I just wish the M6 had a little bit better cameras.

Why not mix these phones into one, making it have the crazy Dimensity 8300 Ultra, Gorilla Glass Victus, 5100 mAh battery, headphone jack, SD card slot, newest software and premium design? Distributing good specs across 3 different phones launched all at once doesn't make any sense to me, massively wasted potential
To some people 20 bucks is a world of difference To me it's just 2 labor days. In other countries is a week or more money of working days. To buy one phone I need to save money for about six months.
Thank you for this comparison! The Poco X6 Pro is really a flagship killer, a bit like what OnePlus was when it launched. The average consumer would be more than happy with any of these phones, especially at this price point. What's the catch here? It is remarkable that these phones have such great differences between the cameras, while using similar hardware from the same manufacturer.
The upgrade I was waiting for (for my Poco X3 pro) I either wanted the Poco F5 or Poco X6 pro. For my Redmi not note 9 I might upgrade that to Poco x6.

I haven't used hyper os so I can't comment on that. But MIUI is very smooth and it's really hard to tell the difference between flagships and midrange phones but i think the xiaomi 14 is considerably smoother than any other phones from what I've seen online. Hope this helped💗

Better display, notably better perfs, slightly bigger battery, better gorilla glass, better efficiency... I'd say it's quite an upgrade still. For me the X6 pro is not worth it so it's really down to the M6 pro and the X6.
4G/5G in UK makes no difference, none of the masts in the UK can even supply you with maximum 4g speeds let alone 5G speeds. I have had 4G and 5G phones and tested then and get almost identical speeds at various place around the country .@@Dammy1998

As an SD card user, 5th and 6th gen poco X has had me disappointed as the X3 Pro (with the snapdragon 860) and X4 Pro had everything plus SD card slot. Alas now that my X3 pro is starting to show it's age i sadly either have to get a tablet with expandable storage like the Lenovo legion or compromise with an M6 Pro (and save more money)

I just bought from AliExpress, they've an anniversary sale that started at midnight last night and the X6 Pro just came in at "£259" for the 8gb256, upon checkout it dropped to £187 so I've jumped on it. It's the first time I've bought a phone from AliExpress but on the Hot UK deals thread people say there's nothing to worry about, just potential customs fees that might be around £25. It's showing today as shipped but apparently can take a while for delivery (even though cheap stuff is usually here in a week)
Of all the M series that Poco releases, this is the most aesthetic and stylish design they released, so much improvement versus the past years releases. And Poco X3 (without box and accessory) in 99.5$ (SD 860 Android 12)
