Dude I'm getting into this and about to start purchasing items. I want to copy this build. I know you've got most everything spoken for, but if you have it all broken down as where I can get most the items, that would be awesome. I'll watch again and take notes on what I can gather parts wise from the video. Awesome!
Awesome 👌 build love budget builds, i just started mine on used parts only from previous builds good hobby to test and tune especially when solo. (Subed) 👌👌
I didn't, I bought it from backyards RC. He's offering an aluminum version now.the 3D printed does ok but can only take so many crashes. facebook.com/BYRCSpeedway/
@@corysorrells22 how did u get it to sit flat?? Did you notch the chassis for the screw on the bottom of the transmission case?? Mine is sitting on that screw right now. I just started doing it the other day but took me forever to find your video & wasn’t sure about the trans.
@@mikeburgessrc5360 yes I pretty much notched the entire rear section so it could lay flat. I used my Dremel to get everything cut down and smooth-ish.
Do not lose hope to be a famous RUclipsr continue and I am sure you will arrive it’s enough you start

I’m looking to build a sand drag car .this gives me a starting point . Thank
I had great luck with the regular chassis 2wd slash due to rough surface
Roll Pin for the cross pin on the spur shaft would probably work better.
That'll work too, also people use 1/16 I think drill bits I believe
@@corysorrells22 Roll pins being spring steel should be tougher and last longer.
Very kool chanel
Thanks I appreciate it 🤘
Can I get some more information on the motor flip
Do u got your A arms turned around backwards?
So question in no prep do you still use sauce? 🤔 I know a thang or three about making tires softer.
No prep, no sauce or pimp juice.
Did you 3d print that front bulkhead yourself? I'm interested in 3d printing some parts myself.

Is your transmission sitting flat?? Also did u use all 4 bolts to hold it on ??
Yes it's sitting flat and I actually have all 6 screws holding the trans to the chassis.
