And that is why you shouldn’t own more then 2 pits at one time, that pack mentality will eventually kick in

That is a fact, I had three of them at a time while two of them were at home alone and my old cat got killed. I’ll never know which one did it

I've seen so many ppl have more than 1 pit and they have never done anything like this. My friends have more than 1. Thing is they know how to train dogs.

Yes, training your dog is something everyone should do, but with these breeds ascribed as pitbulls, it becomes a necessity as every damn time you hear a story about dog aggression, it involves them.

That is what news reported in the little 3 year old boy named Covil, who was killed last month that the dog was an american bully in Brooklyn Park, not pit bulls. However american bully dogs are in the same family as pit bulls as well as bull terriers, staffordshire terrier, pit bull xl, and american pit bull terrier. I do feel bad for this lady, to be attacked by your own animal and even worst for the guard who had to fight off this dog and got injured too. Unfortunately for this lady, she found out the hard way, just how dangerous these types of dogs are. I have notice, the pit bull lobby uses various names for pit bull type dogs and pit bull mixes to get around pit bull ban laws. These people probably raised these dogs well, but when they snap they are too powerful and tenacious to stop. If any one is to blame, I would blame the breed, the pit bull breeders and pit bull lobby who push the notion that pit bull type dogs make safe family pets. Backyard breeders are producing these pit bull type dogs at an alarming rate. That is why if you visit an animal shelter, your are going to find overcrowding with 75% to 90% pit bull type and pit bull mixed dog. I don't know how to solve this ever growing problem. Eventually, we are all going to pay for it in mauling, deaths, hospitalization cost and higher taxes to fund and staff animal shelters and tying up the court with dog bite cases. I am just glad no one else got hurt in this case.

German Shepards are also too powerful and tenacious to stop, while often being larger than pit bulls. It's the owners. These owners should not have these dogs. I am a former pit bull owner that loves them, and someone that has been bitten with scars from a neighbor's Golden Retriever. It's the human's problems, not the breeds. What to do about it? Darwansim.

@@JamesonThe1 Statistical facts from forbes show that 66% of fatal dog attacks are from pit bulls while only 4% fatal attacks are from german shepards. And I have to tell you every single encounter that I have personally had, has been all bad. including the very first encounter in 1995, when my cousin told me that his pit bull was harmless. An hour later I'm in the hospital getting 30 stitches on my left leg, a series of shots, time of work, and my cousin didn't even help pay for my medical expenses

@@douglassmith2989 that still doesn’t make the breed bad it means that people need to take better care and train their dogs better I have 3 pit bulls right now and sure they get into little scuffles but never a full blown fight and 9 times out of 10 there was something I could have done to prevent it… so you and your internet statistics can shove it!

Let me guess. Those dogs belong to her bf or husband. He wanted them to be aggressive and she paid for it. Train your dogs right

I guess assumptions are the only rebuttal pitbull owners have after ANOTHER dog attack is documented.
