While I wouldn't want to sound unfair in agreeing with a blank statement such as yours (there are anointed singers from every tribe and nation the Gospel has reached and it will be like that in Heaven) I have found that, to me, Hebrew worship reaches the depths of my soul more powerfully than any other worship music. I guess it's not really a question of language (though Hebrew is indeed a very beautiful language, and the more you learn it, the more you love it), but of hearts. These are the Jews that are returning from the "galut" (exile, captivity). We all need an "aliyah" (ascension) to revert our own exile experiences, like the prodigal son who came back to the Father's home. I think this video expresses the concept very well. It starts with Birgitta hopeful, looking up to the Heavens, but in a narrow space, and she gradually gets to an open, more elevated space, with other people who join her, and they can see their circumstances through wholly different eyes. A famous Jewish song says, "Hu oseh shalom bimromav". He makes peace in the high places. We need to be led to a Rock that is higher than us, to find a connection with God's ways, God's thoughts, which are much higher than ours, because it's then that we find the right perspective, an eternal one.
