@@theglassbox8755 you're welcome. I've got 2 AST that hatched last September. I've got them in a 90 gallon right now. I've tried a lot of different ways of setting up the tank so I get it. Great job. I hope to see more.
Man love your tank and Gator - After loosing a couple of battle with ICK that killed my Salt water fish $$$ I decided to get me a turtle and I am a happier man for it. Going to convert my 125 into something like that you definitely game me some ideas - please keep the vids coming
If you pump a bunch of good air in you water tank there is a chance he won't even use his lungs. You're right though respiratory infection could happen. Seriously they get lots of oxygen out of the water. I've got about 30 years studying alligator snappers pretty intensely. You win the prize, nicest set up ever. Let me know if you're in louisiana.
New subscriber. Love the content. Looking forward to seeing this channel post more often. Where did you order the tank from? And how long have you had the ally snapper?
Thanks. Only 3 videos so far. This is a Custom aquariums tank. Had my turtle almost 3 years. John Richards turtle. Checkout my other videos if you haven't already.
Maryland. Never ben to Louisiana. All my experience is captive. Never seen this animal in the wild. Ive kept ast's like 26 years off and on. Would love to come down there one day.
@@theglassbox8755 you're welcome anytime. My trips to catch them are a bit like Rambo missions. One place I sleep in a tent on some asphalt. I have an amazing spot I found on private property where I will find some, got permission. I plan to go on the big river, the really big river sometime this year maybe when i reregister my boat. I finally replaced my motor someone stole. My boat is 18 feet long. Plan a Friday night flight in to New Orleans or Baton Rouge and you can see some by Sunday morning. It's like a Rambo mission though. Mosquitos, sleeping on the ground and what not. Give me a month or two to see if my hot spot is what I think it is. I found a hot spot in northern Louisiana. And I think i finally found one south. You can see my videos on my channel. Or you can go to my old Delticola channel and see some more. But I dont have access to that channel any longer.
This is 🔥🔥!! Love the wrap on the tank. It made it look official. You did that sir! 👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽

My man!!
Do you have UVB and heat ?
I have two submersible heaters. These turtles are fully aquatic. No need for a docking station uvb or heat lamp. Only coming out to lay eggs.
Rip to your turtle
