Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. Guess, still your videos are the best in explaining the CPQ module :) I have the scenario where one attribute is shared by multiple products but doesn't necessarily have the same picklist values & additionally, different pricing. so instead of attributes, could we use Price rules Lookup queries?
In this example the assumption is that all product options share the same picklist values for size and color global attribute. If each product option requires different set of attribute picklist values(while sharing the same attribute set), can that be achieved? If yes, how? Thanks
Hey, did you get a solution for your query? I have the same scenario where one attribute is shared by multiple products but doesnt necessarily have the same picklist values.
I must say, your videos are helping me a lot in my project as m new to CPQ. Regarding configuration attributes, I have one doubt. Can we set quote line standard field with configuration attributes using price rule? How? Thanks
Hi Sudha Thanks for your tutorial 5:00 you did not expalined how we can create custom attributes ۔۔۔ I am searching for this video's please give me the correct links for the eame
There is no such thing as inline attributes, you invented a name that CPQ doesn't have and confused everything. You showed how to edit product feature columns and called it "inline attributes" from some reason, and didn't even show the most complicated part (just skipped it) on how add the new field set into "Configuration Field Set" picklist option so it will be available when editing the feature. there are only 2 attributes: 1. Configuration Attributes - available to control parent product in a bundle and features in a bandle 2. Global attributes - available to control product options in a bundle
There is no more confusing way to teach this then you did lol you didn't even cover how to add picklist to the configuration target field lol how could you just skip such an important part for new students it will be impossible to understand. i use to understand attributes very well but after watching your video i don't know how to use it anymore lol
Thank you so much for explaining how to connect Product Attribute Sets; it was driving me insane! Much appreciated!

Sudha's forced accent and style is very irritating. Very difficult to understand. .It is neither here nor there..
Sorry about that
